I was pretty disappointed as I expected better for what they charged. The food was hit or miss. The only item I really enjoy was the BBQ pork buns. The congee was pretty good but I asked the waitress for pepper and she came back with 2 paper packets of pepper, like you would get at a fast food restaurant. Every other dim sum restaurants I've been to in all my year will give you white pepper which is traditionally what you put in congee. The rice wrapped donut, I swear they microwaved the chinese donut. Some pieces were warm while others were still cold, and the peanut sauce has been sitting in the little container for so long the oil had separated from the sauce. Also our egg rolls didn't come with dipping sauce. When I asked for some, they gave us soy sauce. Most places serve it with a vinegar sauce. Not a very good first impression, so I most likely won't be going back

Good location right at Surrey Central mall so plenty of parking outside. You can’t peek inside from the outside window as it is hinder by a separate eatery which they also owns and is more like a wonton noodle Cantonese style diner. As soon as we walk in we were told to self check our body temperature by pointing our palm on the camera. Then we were quickly shown our table. We came in around 10am and the place was about a fifth occupied as more people came in later closer to noon. The decor is clean and bright and the table were cover with cloth and shiny tablewares. We chose jasmine tea which is charged at $1 per person. The dim sums are on the pricier side which is $1 or $2 more for most typical dim sums than other places. I didn’t order the noodles or rice dishes which are all around $30 on the menu sheet. We ordered 4 dim sums and on the most part they were mediocre. The salt and pepper deep fried tofu was served first and the texture was not as crispy as I expected would be and not too flavourful. The other 3 dim sums did not come until after a long wait ~20 minutes and we got a bit annoy as we didn’t expect the dishes should take that long given that the place is not pack which is still around 50% filled by the time we finish the tofu. The rice roll wrapped in Chinese donut was a let down as the donut was not crispy and the rice roll layer was super thin. The sticky rice in lotus was mediocre which is no different than any other dim sum places. The shrimp and chives dumplings was the only thing that was good, good size and taste to par. They charged me 50 cents for take away container which I find it to be cheap given that all dim sums were not cheap. Service was average nothing to rave about. Billed for 4 dim sums and ancillary fees came to $43 plus tips. If you like this review plz give me a thumbs up ??

Food was delicious. The congee was the right amount of preserved eggs and meat, the siu mai was so meaty and the rice roll was right balance of beef and cilantro. The sticky rice was so good my kids gobbled it up. The house bbq pork bun was amazing. It is the right crispiness and sweetness. I would totally come back when I’m in the area again. The servers were quick and efficient. The prices are higher then other places. But the restaurant is clean and well lit.

Came here with a group on the weekend. They were quite busy, I would recommend reservations. The food here was just standard. It was quite expensive and the quality did not reflect the quality. TNT has the same food for 1/2 the price. The seafood congee and the prawn spring rolls were was the best dishes I had. Good amounts of seafood. Crispy and flavour full prawns. The prawn fried rice was also tasty and large portion to share.

The 2 of us came here for a birthday dim sum lunch. We ordered the mushroom dumpling, chicken chow mein, & fried calamari. The sauces on a couple of dishes seemed to be the same sauce. I only liked the mushroom dumplings. I don’t mind paying extra for quality food but I wasn’t impressed. My friend who is a regular here mentioned that their menu isn’t as extensive and prices were higher. Service was okay. It’s located in the Mall and parking is complimentary.
