Worst experience ever. Called them to repair a washing machine leaking. Technician entered my house, diagnosed the problem and then demanded a credit card. 2 months later and still no part, no communication and extremely rude customer service from Michelle. Emailed the owner and haven't heard back from him either. Anytime you call about your account you're given a runaround and then transferred to the "manager" to keeps repeating the same thing but never actually gives a proper response. I just want a refund so I can go elsewhere. BE AWARE they will take your money and disappear

On February 22nd, 2022, I called Express Repair to investigate our fridge that was not cooling properly. A technician named Alex came to our residence that morning at approximately 9am and told us that the fridge could be repaired by replacing a part. He replaced the part, supposedly did his checks and said that the fridge and all components, were in good working order. We were charged $462.78 for the call, part and labor. By 5pm on the same, we noticed that the fridge was not cooling properly and called the company to have Alex sent back to check it out, but they said he was unavailable and we would have to wait until the morning. In the morning of February 23rd the fridge still had not cooled, so we called the company to send him back and he arrived at approximately 9am. He checked the fridge and said now the compressor was broken and that the fridge was "garbage". He said that the compressor failing was unrelated to the part he installed and could have occurred at any time. This of course was suspicious so we called the office manager (Michelle) and asked for a refund. After going back and forth said the company would refund us for the part and the labor but not the initial call. This amount of refund is $362.21. Michelle indicated it would take 3-5 business days to see this return. We asked if there was anything we need to sign, but she said no. On the following Tuesday, the 1st of March, we called again to see what the hold up was. We were told by the receptionist that we should have had to sign something, and we finally got a hold of Michelle on Tuesday, the 2nd of March to sign our refund statement. From there it would go to their accounting department (remote) and we should see payment 3-5 business days from there. We are now at March 21st with no refund. Michelle does not return our calls, and nobody in the office is able to assist us in solving this issue at the lowest level. We have been told she is the only one who can assist. This is by far the WORST customer service I have ever experienced. They misdiagnosed the problem, and will now not give us our refund that they continue to promise we will get. This company scams you out of your money, for the hopes that you will give up and not pursue matters. Whatever you do, DO NOT use this company for anything.

I initially called this company to have the doors on my older model fridge replaced. I provided the person on the phone with the model number. I was told that someone from the parts area would call me back. No one called me back in over 3 days. I called back, repeat the exact same thing. No one called me back. Third call I was told that if I booked a service call and used their services I would not be billed for the cost of the service call, I said, I would of course use them to replace the handles. Booked a visit for Feb 1/22. The technician called me on Jan 31/22 and told me that he would be out and would find out what handles to get..before coming. On Feb 1/22 between 10-10:30 the technician showed up and within 30 seconds told my daughter that they handles are no longer available. I was on a work call, came up and asked what was going on, he told me the handles are no longer available. I asked him why he did not just call and tell me that rather than driving during the blizzard. His response was to enter the part number in and show me that the part is not available. I let him now that I would be getting in touch with the company as I cannot see why I would pay full price for the call when he could have just called. They sent me emails for the bill immediately and I immediately emailed them back asking them to contact me. I never heard a word back. March 17 I get a collections notice, I call Express Appliance on Mar 18 and am told the manager will call me back on Monday. They never called. I called them again on Mar 22/22 and spoke with the manager. When explained the response was that they sent me numerous invoices and I did not respond. I indicated I replied to the emails and did not get a response. She told me the tech HAD to come out in case I wanted hinges replaced. I explained that I spoke to him the night before and was very clear in what I wanted done. Not to mention all calls are recorded and would clearly be able to tell her what I wanted done. She told me he had to come out and see the model number. I said I told him and he could have just called and told me. I advised her that I am not looking to not pay the service bill, I was thinking of half of it because of the service issues. Michelle then advised me that there was nothing that could be done because it was in collections. I said that is an absolute lie. I indicated to her that she does not know what I do for a living and I know that what she just said is a lie. She then said she did not appreciate being threatened. WHAT?!!! It was the most ridiculous conversation I have ever had with a β€œmanager”. I advised her that I would rather just call the collections company and pay the bill than listen to the lies and deal with this company. The fact is, they do not call people back and then send out for service call that is not necessary. As I stated to her, β€œclearly, the parts department takes its lead from the managers as neither of you bothered to call me back when I was advised that you would. Very sad situation. And yes, I hung up and paid the bill. It was not the bill, it was the not getting a call back when I was told and then having someone come here who already knew they could not help me, not getting any response to the emails I sent. Could I have called, sure. At the end of the day, lesson learned. I won’t ever deal with them or recommend them. Very shady practice to get a service call charged to someone.

I called Express just today and Peter was able to come even before the time they gave later that afternoon!! We are so grateful for the quick response and repair to our freezer. My only negative is that my husband had to spend quite a bit of time after he came home to fix the door of the freezer which was not put back together properly ? that was quite frustrating.

I was given an appointment immediately; Peter arrived promptly and quickly assessed my broken dryer. Within 48 hours he had tracked down the part and repaired my dryer. I didn't even have time to complain about laundry accumulating! I would highly recommend them.

Fast and friendly service. I placed a call Tuesday night at 8:30pm to have someone come and assess an issue with my washing machine and had an appointment booked for Wednesday morning. Peter arrived on time, was courteous and assessed the issue quickly. He was informative and provided answers to the questions I asked. Most importantly he was able to get things back up and running within an hour. I also felt the pricing that was quoted was fair. Thanks Peter for your help and service today!
