★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My first time buying from Sumkas, will not be my last. Amazing Dracula flowers. I thought they would be over priced so never went but everything is extreemly reasonably priced! Baskets for $17 were even a $1 cheaper than superstore. Hope to find more "gothic" flowers next year, like the black and blood red petunias. Staff were very friendly and checkout was fast. 5/5!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was very pleased with the Ruby Slipper Coleus I purchased a couple years ago at Sumkas - they filled out nicely and looked great all summer. I called the Greenhouse and Karina assured me they had plenty in stock. Karina also told me about a Glasshouse Coleus she liked. I popped down to Sumka and Karina picked out some really nice Coleus plants for me as I decided to alternate the Ruby Slipper and Glasshouse in my black pots. I asked her what else she was fond of and really liked the Blackheart Sweet Potato Vine and the Purple Baron Ornamental Millet she suggested - I think they will be a regular favorite of mine as well. I really like the potting soil they carry so grabbed a big bag of that too.
I brought my own boxes ( you don’t have to of course) and it was nice when Marianne Sumka thanked me for bringing them to put my plants in. Great selection and amazing staff !

Plants are in excellent shape, prices are on par with other garden centre's and product selection is pretty good (depending on when you arrive in the season). I'd definitely recommend going on a weekday if possible, the parking lot gets hairy on the weekend.
