Let me tell you, physical service is GREAT BUT do not try and call to enquire , who ever works on the order desk should be fired, rude, argumentative, I was hung up on a few times . As far as I am concerned the person answering call should be pleasant as it reflects on the whole company . Hard not to call them as they are pretty much the only appliance service in Winnipeg, but beware of the grumpy man on the phone .

Careful with these guys. This place sold my dad a suspected defective washing machine that doesn't run through wash cycles completely and some cases doesn't want to start washing. He called out a service technician and all the guy did was push some buttons got the machine to spin and drain out and left, only there for about a half-hour. And charged my Dad $100. And the machine still NOT working properly. Very disappointed in the sales and service at this place.

Absolutely the worse technical repair company we have ever used. They were called to replaced a hose on our dishwasher and kinked the replacement hose. This was such as easy fix - I know how to do it but needed a “reputable” repair person in order to maintain the rest of my warranty. They wouldn’t warranty their own work after my dishwasher stopped working shortly after their visit. They told me it would take 3+ weeks to come and look at their own mistake and tried claiming that this was a new issue (even though they haven’t seen it yet) and most likely would charge me another $200 because their guy didn’t know how to properly install a hose. Customer service person was very condescending to women and spoke to us like we are stupid even though we have been renovating kitchens and installing appliances for years. I would strongly recommend using anyone else.

Was very pleased with Bains service. My family has used them for years and you can depend on the job being done right. The technician was professional and courteous. I was a given a check in the day before service and a time frame which was kept the next day and all Covid protocals were followed which was appreciated. I would highly recommend.

By dnis8492 July 27, 2018 purchased a stove from Bains paid $500 couple of years ago, front burner of the stove shuts off by itself .had Jeff from Bains come out and asked me what the problem is , I told him the problem then he turned the stove on & off a couple times and said the problem was in the board. They billed me $93.00 & have to order parts,charged me almost $100.00 for just standing in my kitchen,turning my stove on. $700.00 they want to fix it. Say goodbye to your good customer,family&Friends. Ridiculous Follow up: So we were just about to go and buy a new stove but I thought before we do I should do what Bains didn't do, I opened up the stove and found that the connector to the element was fried . So I went to can tire and bought a connector for under a dollar and fixed it myself in mins . Now my stove works as good as new . So Thanks to Bains and there so called professional serviceman for just bringing me a bill for $ 100.00 . I can't in good faith recommend your unprofessionalism to anyone in the future . Spend more time searching for a reputable company with customer service care...

Absolute worst service call I’ve ever had in my entire life, combined with the conversation of the guy working the phone lines. The guy working the desk,/answering phone calls has absolutely no business doing so. If your company offers a service, at least be somewhat knowledgeable about the services that are being offered, and be able to provide some information. I attempted to talk to this company three times, before the service guy came out to my place to “fix” my washer. I told him exactly what was wrong with that, what the error code was….Even what the part was. The guy on the phone tried to tell me that they don’t like their customers to take things apart, or let them know what the issues are until the service repair guy can look at it, OK fine. Wouldn’t even provide me the number for the service guy, or let the service guy call me. Service guy shows up, stands in my doorway for five minutes, charges me $91, to tell me to buy a new washer. Didn’t even take a look at the machine, didn’t even turn it on to check the error code, basically said it was two things, and they were both cost a lot of money. Horrible customer service would not recommend and will tell everyone about this. Don’t bother calling to ask for a quote, because the guy answering the phone knows absolutely nothing. In fact, buy a new washer, I’ll tell you that right now.

Called to get a hinge on an oven repaired (it was failing not broken), they had scheduled someone to come out in three weeks. The appointment was pushed up two weeks. The tech that came out was very polite and professional, they took a quick look at the oven and was able to make the repairs in 10 minutes. I requested details on a broken fridge part and the tech was able to provide me with the part number in minutes. Any time that I have needed replacement parts (dishwasher sprayer nuts, and fridge door handles) and they have had stock with very good rates that are lower then online options. This is defiantly a place I will continue to use and recommend to anyone needing appliance repair. The call out fee is worth it, just explain the issue and listen to what they tell you can be done.
