Eagle Reach - West Coast Cottages

Very very nice stay, the place is well maintained, home feeling with nice furniture and appliances. BBQ outdoors with eagles views, very very nice place. Strongly recommend!

This was the worst stay I have ever had at an AIRBNB/VRBO style rental. It was filthy when we arrived and they did not offer assistance. The beds were unmade and had been slept in by the previous renters. The garbage and recycling were overflowing and left for us. We stayed up until 4am to do the bedding laundry because the laundry machines were extremely slow at drying. I can't believe these people are able to continue offering their rental. They turned their phone off once they realized we had a problem and despite emailing us back NEVER called.

Stay Elsewhere. We booked this property over Christmas. The instructions on entering were not clear. Of course there is no cell coverage for 2 hours either side of Port Renfrew, so we sat outside and waited for nearly an hour. When we finally did get into the property by getting the code from a housekeeper working on another cabin , it was filthy! The accommodation had not been cleaned since the previous guests. There were no clean linens to change the beds, or towels in the property either. We reached out to the property owners- first call, they were polite and said they would send someone. We waited until 8:00PM, when no one arrived- when we called the owners again for some kind of update on if they'd reached anyone to come clean the property- we got a busy line so we began doing laundry. This 'busy line' continued for the rest of our stay. The dryer at the accommodation is not properly vented- so the last load of linens was not dry until 4:00am. We called the cleaning company directly the next day- they came at 4:00PM. We emailed the owners the next day, at a loss from calling and getting the busy tone for 12 hours. They apologized and promised to 'refund the cleaning fee' without any explanation for why they hadn't checked in on us the night before to see if anyone had come by to bring us fresh linen. We asked them to call us at the property, which never happened. They never refunded our cleaning fee, and have ignored messages since. There are so many lovely accomodations in the area, don't subject yourself to the stress of dealing with owner's that clearly don't care about your experience.

DO NOT STAY HERE The code to enter the property was not provided, no cell coverage in Port Renfrew left us waiting in the parking lot for an hr. A cleaner from another property was able to get us in and it at not been cleaned. The bathrooms were disgusting and we had to clean the kitchen before starting to prepare our dinner. Cleaning someone else's mess is not my idea of a vacation. There were no clean linens to change the beds, or towels in the property either. We did laundry and made beds the first night of our vacation. Property owners gave us no explanation and promised to reimburse cleaning fee which they DID NOT. 4:00 PM day two of our stay the cleaners finally arrived. DO NOT STAY HERE, there are many units to choose from where the owners will not ignore your calls!

On first sight, a wonderful and luxurious cottage with stunning views. This cottage is fully equipped with almost everything you could wish for. Despite other reviews I've read here, the cottage was clean. Some small things were clearly in need of maintenance though. But for the rest I absolutely enjoyed my stay here.

Amazing nature escape get away! Heather was so responsive and communication was very on point since first contact . She was very accommodating to our schedule and requests. We got clear instructions in advance knowing it’s a escape place (any traveller choosing this city to go should’t be surprised about this fact, do your research peeps!) and our time there was beyond amazing ! Port Renfrew is the perfect place to relax and feel grounded, that’s exactly what we were looking for, we were enjoying so much that we decided to extend our stay and she made it happen right away. Definitely will be back, great place, great host, great vibe ! Everything was spotless , clean, and appliances available are very helpful.

My wife and I went to Port Renfrew for a couple of days to celebrate Valentine’s Day, and we stayed at Eagle Reach. We were very impressed with how new and clean everything was and we felt right at home. It’s hard to find a nice place that allows you to bring your pets, so this was a huge bonus for us! The view was breathtaking and we really enjoyed the nature hikes to Botanical and Mystic Beach. There’s a cute little cafe that’s walking distance away with the friendliest staff and a pub up the road which had amazing food and a great atmosphere. Overall we really enjoyed our time away and we left wishing we had a few more days. We will definitely be back soon!

Nice flat, weloxomed.our little dog, great views of the bay, north facing balcony never got any direct sun in October. Fantastic to be able to charge our EV. 4 chairs, 5 plates, gas for bbq and gas for sodastream were both empty. We made other plans for the bbq but never got the replacement cartridge of co2 for the sodastream. Comfortable beds, very nice bathrooms--couldn't seem to turn off the main bathroom fan--and wifi was quite unstable to stream a movie from my laptop, but otherwise fine. Would gladly come back, knowing what to prepare for.
