j	james allen on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed here while on business. Will definitely stay again. Rooms were clean and modern. Loved the rustic/cabin feel of the rooms. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was small but again clean and modern. Air-conditioning worked and was not loud. When I checked in, they gave me a welcome package of cookies, chocolate and fudge made in fort Frances. They also had free popcorn and free Starbucks coffee at reception. Staff were also friendly

Drinks are also great at the bar. The spa and pool are a nice way to unwind after a long day. Free popcorn and Starbucks in the lobby too. Free chocolates, cookies, and fudge with the room! They do a wonderful job at keeping this place clean and classy.

I really like the cedar wood and pine needle bar soap. They smell so good :) The welcoming gift set is touchy and 24/7 Starbucks coffee and tea. Very positive on my stay!

HOWEVER, very expensive ($200 per night) for what you get and hotel is using Covid as an excuse not to provide services. No use of pool (no water in it), no restaurant, no conference room, no cookies or chocolates, no fresh coffee machine (out of order), no exercise facility area/room, etc. It’s now November 2021 where the hotel next door has all of these amenities…pool, food, etc. The security deposit is steep as well. I don’t think this is a thing for most hotels as this is the first time I have encountered this. The housekeeper was very nice and friendly. Front desk staff don’t seem too happy where they are liking their job. ?‍♀️

When checking the site it looked nice update had a pool, hot tub, restaurant and a buffet breakfast.But….I didn’t realize the pool and the hot tub was closed..on big deal, So when asking about the breakfast …guess what ! restaurant and buffet was closed also. I guess that’s what happens when you have a PLANdemic. Other than that it was a very nice place to sleep.
