W	Walter Sta Ana on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ More than a motel! A beautiful stay right near the Rainy Lake boardwalk. I booked for a couple of days and wishing I could have stayed longer. Thank you Grace for being courteous and very helpful during my stay! Would definitively like to visit again.

The double room we had (shared with my wife and dog) was large, very clean with updated decor and fixtures (even pre-chilled upon arrival thanks to the AC!). The location is maybe the best in town as it is right on the lakefront by the path. For the price I paid ($115 after the dog fee), I don’t think you can find a better deal in town. I’d definitely stay again if coming through Fort Frances!

Grab a waterfront view and don't worry about any noise from the road. Enjoy your dinner on the river across the way and grab a swim steps from your room!

M	Milk Milky on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So, I stayed at the "Classic Apartment" which was exactly what I was looking for! Unfortunately, there were some issues. First, the inside of the shower curtains had chunks of hair on them. I assume from a previous guest? Gross. Second, false advertisement. When you list a hotel room as an apartment with a kitchen, one would expect that you can actually cook in it. Well, in this kitchen it's pretty hard to do so since they only have 1 small pot & 1 small pan. The reason most people (like me) book a room with a kitchen is because we expect to be able to cook homemade meals, but there isn't even a colander to drain pasta? This kitchen needs actual kitchen appliances. Oh, and you can't open the oven all the way because of a faulty building. The wall next to the oven has a piece that sticks out & prevents from opening the oven fully. Honestly, if it wasn't for these things I would give it a 5 star review because the apartment overall is nice, but it's annoying not being able to cook in the kitchen. And besides the shower curtains, the rest was very clean. I hope my review gets the staff's attention & they make some changes.

We stayed on the bay side and watched the most gorgeous sunrise through the huge motel picture window while still lying in bed. We were in a room with a kitchenette which was also very clean and attractive. It felt like we were staying in a little house. Very positive experience and stay. We will definitely book here again. Thank you!
