★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stay away from this place. They tried charging us for a new bathroom door because it was falling apart and wouldn't close. The damage to the door had been previously painted over so it was old, but they said it was from us. I'm sure they try charging everyone that stays in this room. Also we had daily notes from the cleaning staff complaining about everything. One note said my suitcase was too close to the bed, if I didn't move my suitcase they won't make the bed.
Stay away from the Makabi Inn.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Spent two evenings here over the winter and returned just last weekend. Both stays were excellent. The staff was friendly, rooms clean and comfortable. We really enjoy the location; walking distance to local shops, food and the waterfront. Will definitely be back again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was a nice functional hotel, reminded me of a college dorm, lots of concrete block. Everything was very clean, very comfortable bed and the bathroom was recently redone. The "continental breakfast" turned out to be a full breakfast! Two eggs, meat, potato, toast and coffee. The hotel and breakfast combo is a deal that would be tough to beat!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our stay in July was terrific. Loved the receptionist, Riley, that assisted us. Our rooms were clean and comfortable. Also loved the location. We were secure in the fact that our gear was safe. We will be back in July, 2019!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very comfortable beds and nicely redone decor. The room was quite large and the bathroom had been competely redone with all new fixtures. Very nice bedding but oddly mediocre towels - given the quality of the linens the bath towels were a little small and industrial feeling, not unlike the towels at the hospital I work at.
It was a little pricey in my opinion but there are not a lot of options in town. It was worth the price.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice courteous staff accommodated late check in on short notice. Thank you Wade for waiting till I arrived after a long drive.
Rooms and washroom were nice and clean, decent small cozy room. The refrigerator could have used a cleaning though or maybe some baking soda. I noticed a pungent smell as soon as I opened the freezer and refrigerator door.
Good thing I carry Lysol with me lol, cleaned it before keeping my food.
Overall decent experience and thank you again for waiting up.
