l	love sushi on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst hotel stay ever. Don’t waste your money here. Housekeeping only works every 3 days. Does this tell you anything about our stay? Begging for toiletries is no fun. We will be in Thunder Bay in 2 weeks. Won’t be going near this hotel.
Z	Ziad Akkaoui on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This hotel was the most disappointing experience I’ve witnessed, and that’s coming from someone that travels for business weekly. At check-in, I was told my room wasn’t available and the hotel was oversold, so they moved me to a neighbouring hotel, another 1 star hotel that’s literally over 110 years old and requires a security guard to let you into the hotel. If it wasn’t for me asking for a cab to drop me off, they expected me to walk in the rain 10 minutes to get there. Totally unacceptable, especially when travelling on a local corporate reservation. If zero stars were available, that’s the rating they would deserve.
K	Kevin Wilson on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don't stay in winter. They don't have enough free parking and don't plow their parking spaces properly after a storm. They let a large truck take up half the available parking spots. There is a party happening now and I can hear all the noise though I have an early flight and need sleep. Asked for the garbage to be removed from my room and they didn't do it. For the price, there are too many holes in their services - A 4 star hotel like this should check that the alarm clocks are not still set from the previous guest. The clock in my room went off at 4:00 am and I was already exhausted from a long day's travel.

Pet friendly ($35 pet cleaning fee) Underground Parking ($15 self park, totally worth it especially in the winter) They do have off-site parking available as well which I would imagine would be free? Restaurant in the Delta called Anchor & Ore had great food - I ordered the Beet Salad and it was delicious Starbucks in the lobby was a bonus Rooms were large and very clean We were very happy with our stay and will definitely return!

Check in process was not easy or enjoyable — they tried to sell me some credit card or point program before telling me where the parking lot was or giving me my keys all I wanted was to park and get into my room after a long day. Great view though and close to downtown and the waterfront which was really nice. Price is pretty expensive for Thunder Bay and a basic hotel room.

Stayed here a week while working, asked in advanced for a room with a tub (rather than the shower stall), had to wait until the next day for it 'to be ready' in spite of the hotel being virtually empty (basing this on the empty parking lot AND comments made earlier by the friendly staff) Both rooms I stayed (while waiting for the aforementioned room) had a HUGE draft coming in, no temperature control on the fridge that was BARELY cold - didn't feel safe storing dairy, had to wear eye mask to dark out the INCREDIBLY bright flashing light on the smoke detector. No pool, breakfast costs extra, the coffee being sold was over priced and discussing to the point of undrinkable even though advertising "Starbucks". Next time I'm in Thunderbay I'll staying where my money gets me a MUCH more relaxing experience with a good night's rest without this nonsense.... like the Holiday Inn.
C	Cornelia Helena on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Decided to break my long drive up and stopped here and it was exactly what I was hoping for...good restaurant, on the water, clean and beautiful room and beautiful view(despite not booking a water view room!) This will be my hotel of choice from now on! Pleasant and friendly staff! Very good value for my dollar!! Thanks for the hospitality!
