About David's Distinctive Mens Apparel
In the early fall of 2013, David Grambo opened a fine menswear retail store in downtown Saskatoon, David’s Distinctive Men’s Apparel.
Our goal is to assist gentlemen with their purchases of the premium menswear in Saskatoon, whether for casual wear, business, or special events. We currently offer a selection of men’s clothing for those who require a little more fabric, big and tall customers.
As the business matures, we are providing more in-house services to attain our service goals. A staff of sales associates is here to assist in providing service beyond expectation. A dedicated, professional tailor looks after all alterations and adjustments.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is wonderful. I went there a few times in order to prepare for my wedding. Every time I go inside, I wish I could dress majestically like their inventory. Im planning to get a piece of suit once in a while, because every men should at least own a suit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome place. I had a very solid experience here today. David was knowledgeable and helped me find a dress shirt for a friend's wedding incredibly quickly. I have to say that it's a much more personal experience than Moores and right next door.
They also have an in-house tailor for adjustments. I recommend this shop and will certainly come back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Careful with David’s! We had an AWFUL experience. Awful customer service when we went in to choose and order and then got two or three phone calls later on “confirming our order”.... they had it all totally wrong ... like really wrong. So I corrected them. The guys went to try the suits before the wedding and the sizes were all way off even though they had all gone in in person to size. They were re ordered just in time for the wedding. The guys went to put the suits on for the wedding day. One package didn’t have suspenders and two of the suits (including my husbands) didn’t fit at all. Called Davids and they did nothing to help. The groomsmen did some ripping and taping and patched everything together ??. Such an awful and unnecessary experience. Two of the guys were refunded, but that doesn’t really make up for all the hassle. The owner later told us that this was all unusual... but that doesn’t help the fact that my husband had to wear a suit that was taped together for our wedding.

They were the only place in town that we could find brown leather suspenders and they put an order in for us to ensure it would arrive before the wedding. They took care of embroidery as well! All in all the staff, and David himself, were extremely helpful in the process. Would shop there again for sure!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stopped in at David's today as it was highly recommended by a friend. I was in a rush to find a nice shirt for a funeral that is quickly approaching. I just walked in after having mowed the lawn and I'm sure looked quite out of place but I was greeted by David himself and he took the time to listen to my needs and what I was looking for. He showed me the options he had in my size (ample to say the least), though I wasn't able to find something that would work for a funeral I was shown an amazing sports jacket in my size, which I ended up purchasing. Being a bigger guy I always get a bit nervous when going in to high end retailers but the experience I had at David's was fantastic. This is the place to go if you are in need of quality items and and exceptional customer service. Can't wait to find my next item from David's

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Literally a living nightmare suit store storer due to a particular staff member's behavior. Travis was a very pretentious arrogant staff member to my husband and I. He measured my husband's suit size wrong and than he didn't take any responsibility for his wrong doing after that, after I confronted him about it. I unfortunately can not recommend this store due to that particular staff member at the time. ✌️

Dave and his staff was very helpful and knowledgeable, and there was plenty of options to choose from. It’s definitely a store that carry’s good quality products and will definitely be returning soon to get some new suits.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My husband and I got married in November and the gentlemen at David's were amazing to work with! They truly went above and beyond.
To start, my brother, 16, is very tall and slim, and unfortunately most common suit and pant sizes don't fit him at the moment. David took great care to make sure the suit was tailored to fit as it should and in good time before the wedding. Second, we had the misfortune of having our caterer cancel on us a few weeks before our wedding. An employee and I (his name is escaping me!) were discussing it and he followed up by call later to give us the name and number of a caterer he recommended. Finally, my husband was on-call for work quite a bit prior to our wedding and wasn't able to try his dress shirt on until a couple days before the wedding. The size he had ordered (without trying it on) wasn't quite right, but David exchanged it for a better size on the same day. What a relief!
If you're looking to support local, work with good folks who care about their work, and offer an exceptional customer experience, I highly recommend David's! A big thank you to David and his staff for all the help ensuring the men looked dapper on our special day.
