★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The condos are really nice however they are extremely warm. The biggest issue are the elevators they are down more often then not which makes it very difficult for taking groceries up, if you have any mobility issues or respiratory issues.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I formerly owned and lived in Colours building from the beginning 2009-2017, at the time managed by Emerald Management.
In short the building was clearly built in the boom and slapped together. I experienced numerous ongoing repairs, a lot seemingly premature for a brand new building from a reputable builder. It was either the Elevator, Heating, Cooling, or plumbing that was down or not operating optimally, or at times some combination of the above. I had hoped for a much better experience as a new condo owner.
I eventually moved out because I grew tiresome of all the inconveniences and headaches. I can fairly say I won’t ever buy a property from Battistella again. I would hope many of there buildings are great, but Colours ain’t one.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Environmental nightmare... I stayed here for a few days in late November. The temperature outside was freezing, day and night. WIth the every window open, and the balcony door fully open, even after 24 hours, the temperature inside was still unbearable (24*C+). This energy waste is simply unconscionable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Elevators are frequently down or there is a long wait during peak times when there's only 1 of 2 running. Can run into situations where the only elevator is booked for moves and you're left with no elevator access during those times.
Soundproofing is poor and there's lots of finger pointing as neighbours try to figure out where the noise is coming from.
The heat was sweltering for approx. 7 months in 2021, reaching 24-30C. After those repairs, there's still been problems with the heater or chiller.
There seems to be a fair number of short-term rentals that can add to the noise problems when they have parties.
Location is convenient though, if you can get past the issues.
Overall, I'm glad I only rent here instead of owning and will be moving out shortly.
