Signed a years lease as my first apartment. It was the cheapest place I could find at the time and lived up to that thoroughly. Horrible management, generally horrid building, utterly mice infested. I put a good amount of effort into keeping the apartment clean after I started seeing mice and continued to have regular encounters with them after months of high cleaning standards and warmer weather. I lived on the 8th floor. Do not live here if you have the option to live somewhere else.

A lot of improvements in the past few months! Management of the building changed and I can feel more attention and quality customer service from the "fresh blood". I was planning to change to a different landlord after my contract expires, but if you will keep doing things the way you started, I am sure I will stay here for another year.

Terrible management. Any complaint or even just a simple question, gets answered by what seems like a script they all must say, or intense attitude. They tried to up my rent without telling me, when confronted Lucia yelled at me trying to belittle me, throwing number at me saying how I'm incorrect. I called head office, turns out they did over charge me, my rent dropped back down. And I THEN recieved a voicemail from Ion stating "I heard of what happened with Lucia, we can talk about it I guess". Very unprofessional. Lucia glares and keeps a stare as if she will attack like an animal. I try my hardest to avoid the lobby due to how Lucia is, I have even gone as far as putting in my file for someone else to speak to me when matters rise. I'm guessing boardwalk employees never heard of in order to get respect you must give respect. On top of all that, they have came into my apartment unit over 10 TIMES. With NO NOTICE! The garbage is clogged every week. I could go on about why this place deserves -0 as a review. I've talked to customer service multiple times, nothing changes, complaints get nowhere with this company.

I would like to commend Ion Ungureanu, Customer Care Manager of Broadway Centre, Calgary. He is an outstanding manager who always has a smile and a kind word. His approach towards the tenants is very positive and friendly. He is approachable, always willing to help, is accommodating, welcoming and cool. In fact I have never seen him without a smile! I also greatly appreciate Lucia, who works in the Broadway Center office. She has a positive attitude, is kind, helpful and approachable. Once there was an error by Canada post and an important document of mine was misplaced. Even though it had nothing to do with Broadway Center, she went the extra mile, followed up with the mail man the next day and helped resolving the matter.

Boardwalk seems to pride themselves on their safety and community. However, my car was broken into by another a tenant with multiple witnesses and it took a few days before I heard back from management about the issue. A few months later, another tenant of the building harassed and broke into our apartment room. We have contacted management and the office multiple times but still haven't heard back. I don't think management cares whatsoever about their tenants or who they let live in these buildings. I will never rent from boardwalk properties ever again. Throughout our time renting from this building communicating with the office and the employees here has been a nightmare. It is definitely not worth the price of the rent. Update: we contacted customer service, about a week ago. They said management would call us the next day...we have yet to hear from anybody regarding the issue. We’ve emailed the leasing office multiple times as well, no reply. Hahahaha this is ridiculous at this point.

Just want to say that Broadway Centre is one of the best managed buildings I've lived in. The few times I needed to contact the office for any kind of maintenance, I would have someone knocking on the door in the next hour or two. All this good management is made possible by Lucy, whom I think is a very professional and attentive Boardwalk representative. If any Boardwalk executive ever reads this comment, please know Lucy always goes above and beyond for their customers. She's the best.

Extremely unprofessional behaviour by Carmen. We had a viewing set up for 3 pm and she called me 5 minutes before saying that she's going to be late and that one of the apartments we wanted to view is no longer available. We waited for 20 more minutes after 3pm and she then told us that the other apartment we wanted to see is also not available and that she leased it out at 1pm. She then tells us to come tomorrow for viewing another apartment somewhere else.If she already knew that the apartments we wanted to see have been leased out at 1pm why the hell didn't we get informed about it then itself ? We drove 30 minutes on a saturday afternoon just to go through all this. Extremely unprofessional behavior and terrible customer service. Stay away !

I have lived here for few years and before the resident managers was good with full of dedication but for the last one year there has been a lot of new faces that keep coming and going. For name sake they smile and talk to you nicely but they dont do any thing what they promise to do. Mark the maintenance guy was the only person who was nice but now don't even see him. Here they give alot of incentives when you are new after the year completion they slowly increase rent so there is lot of new tenants every month because of move outs. They know nothing about loyalty and commitment. I am a resident here so used a different name as I don't trust what they will do till I move out don't want to reveal my name. I hope they can hire managers who are better with less attitude and pride that they own Boardwalk.
