★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went in for a haircut and colour. My hair was very blonde and I wanted to go bronde and add some low lights. My hair is currently dark brown and all one colour even tho I wanted to keep my blonde. My stylist was apologetic that she messed it up and offered a colour correct but upon thinking it over I don’t even want to go through that. I will not put my trust in this place again. Especially since she said she would only charge me for the cut and I still had to pay 130$ (Because I still had to pay for the colour products ?) that’s very expensive to leave a salon in tears. The cut is also sub par.
Not to mention when I was getting my wash done the water turned on on my scalp was scorching hot and I’m still in pain from the burn after a few hours.
I still feel sick that I paid that much to look like this and get burnt. Avoid avoid avoid.

Their prices are competitive, selection is amazing and shipping is super fast. Not only that, they support local and give back to local charities. Honestly, stop reading reviews and book an appointment already!

McKayla in particular went above and beyond to contact me before my appointment to ensure that they could do what I was looking for in the appointment time allotted. Even offered to FaceTime with me to take a look at my hair before I arrived. Such great customer service!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As someone who's never felt really comfortable at salons, I really appreciate my go-to stylist, Lila! She's really chill, awesome energy, and gives fabulous haircuts. I have fine texture, high density wavy hair, and have been getting regular trims to recover my hair from heat/bleach damage. My 2B/C hair is looking awesome with the textured layers Lila put in last week. She removed a lot of the weight and bulk, giving my hair some definition. My waves are looking much more defined. Highly reccomended to wavies looking for a cut in calgary !!!! #wavygirl

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Over the moon ?? I developed a big fear of letting anyone touch my hair after a bad experience a few years ago. After growing my hair out and giving myself a few at home cuts during the pandemic, I stopped loving my hair. It just seemed so boring and flat, I basically lived in a hair bun. I did some reasearch and decided to go see Lila. She did an amazing job! Listenined to all my requests and concerns, she was soooo nice and great to talk to, and I left with my confidence through the roof! She cut my hair perfectly, exactly how I wanted it. My color and highlights were beautiful, and she even helped me pick out some awesome products after! She definitely knew what she was doing, her confidence and ease took alllll my worries away! Im so glad I came here! I will definitely be a long term client! The space was really nice as well, clean and super professional! 10/10 would recommend. Thanks so much for helping me love my hair again! ❤️

I have given her an overview of the cut I needed and she has done an excellent job. She gave a complete new look to me. Loved it!! ? More than a 5 star rating for her and highly recommend her service. ?
Also, about the Hekandi Salon. They keep place clean and tidy. They greet you very well. And best part they compliment each other for their amazing work making atmosphere super friendly.
