★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An exceptional experience through and through. Not only were the cocktails out of this world the bites from the kitchen were exquisite. Bao buns fluffy as heck, fries fried with love and much more. The themes of popular movies was very fun and creative. As a chef I was mind blown by the masterfully mixed flavours and combos the bartenders presented. In house aging barrels, knowledgeable staff and wonderful service. Un. Real. Perfect for any special occasion or if you just want to try some of the cities best mixology talent.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We’ve been going to proof since it has been opened for the creative cocktails and food. We went February 12 and it has changed a lot. Cocktails were horrible, it’s like they didn’t take the time to make them like they usually do. I’m only giving 2 stars and that’s strictly for the kitchen as the food was delicious! The server would barely come around and so we left. There are much better cocktail bars in Calgary now! I would suggest going somewhere else unless you want to wait hours for a mixed drink in a glassware.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cool space, great drinks, awesome atmosphere, but the service is painfully slow. The waitress we had was very helpful and cheery, but the rounds came out noticeably slow. We realize this is a craft cocktail bar, and it's not as simple and mixing rum and coke, but we felt that the speed of service was keeping our experience from being phenomenal. Otherwise, we weren't disappointed -- we came during the evening when the snow was falling, and it was a picturesque night forsure.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Still one of my favourites in Calgary for drinks! The food menu albeit small packs a lot of punch. The steak was extremely good along with their staple bao buns.
I do also appreciate the well curated selection of locally brewed beers brought in.
You can also expect top shelf service from their staff. Our waitress knew as much as the bartenders did when it came to their mixed beverages. Very courteous and social!
Certainly coming back in the near future!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quickly becoming one of my favourite bars in downtown Calgary. Love the fancy, well presented cocktails everytime coming here, especially the smoky old fashioned. Who doesn't like to pretend they are Don Draper at the bar. I was pleasantly surprised by the mojito as well. Absolutely love the classy, sophisticated atmosphere.
And happy hour till 7pm?! Unreal.
