I entered the branch and I was the only person there, so I walked up to the teller area. Two tellers were behind the counter at two different stations. Both noticed me standing waiting, and they did not invite me forward for at least five minutes. Instead they continued working on their screens on other matters. This is poor customer service. When I was invited forward, I mentioned that I had rolled coins that I wanted to exchange for cash. I am not a CIBC customer but entered this branch because my normal bank was closed on this day. The agent mentioned that if I was able to show a piece of identification she would be able to accept the coins and give me cash. I produced my drivers license for her. She then proceeded to physically open the rolls of coins, presumably checking to see if there were coins in the rolls or something else. There were $430 worth of coins so I waited probably 10 minutes while she checked rolls. Having satisfied herself that the coins were all legitimate, she then proceeded to deal with my drivers license information. As she turned to her computer, she discovered that the computer system was "down" and she mentioned that she would not be able to proceed because the system was down. I asked her why she had not checked the computer system first, but she did not have a reply. She just said sorry and handed all the coins back to me. All in all, I stood in the branch 15 minutes plus only to leave with nothing accomplished. CIBC, that was a fail.

Garbage service, got $400 released by a teller in Mississauga and these clowns couldn’t give me more than $100. No wonder this place has 2 stars the manager is useless

Currently standing at the wicket counter for over 20 mins with no attendant at any of the stalls. Only to be told that they don't have $300 worth of euro and that it will take 5 business days to get it. I'm to find a new bank. The CIBC locations in Milton are an absolute joke.

Really happy with the process for my re-finance application. Mr. Goldie helped me throughout the process patiently and was really supportive. Gave accurate and really helpful guidelines and made it very stress-free. I really like how CIBC makes things customer friendly and smooth. Very satisfied.

Terrible service Unprofessional staff- today I walked in to this branch no one was there at the front but even when the tellers see you, they ignore you and continue to look at their screen. As I entered to asked the teller for help he told me do I have an appointment- then I told no but I need some information on my mortgage if there was anyone available. Even after asking he had a rude attitude as if I don’t have a right to enter the bank with enquiries. Then he advise me to move from the lineup back to the hallway. No one is in the bank. When he was talking to another person that works there and mind you I can hear them. One said why is she here without an appointment tell her we can’t help her. He came back telling me I can get help after 3pm by booking an appointment or I can speak to someone with general information. So I agree on both an appointment for a different day and to speak to anyone that will give me some information on my current situation. While I was in the hallway he went back with an attitude telling the other person about me and both came back to me. Nayif Chishti was the most unprofessional financial advisor I have ever met. He came up to me and said rudely what do you need, then he mention I am not supposed to help you because I have my own list of people who I help. Of course I felt offended and I ask him why would you say that- he continued to have an attitude so I told him it’s ok I will leave I don’t need to be treated this way. I asked him for his manager he said she is not here today. I asked for her card he shoved it to me and said go ahead complain to who ever you want to! I will never enter that branch again. Many time I go there same kind of treatment but this time I had to let people know. I called the manager her name is Sameeksha Gurav no answer I left a V.M lets see if she ever respond. Will update. Never again. Sadly you have to choose a star or will will choose 0 stars.
