Thank you once again to Muhammad Hussain for his professional service. I was trying to have my late wife's estate with CIBC Investor's Edge transferred to me. Another customer service representative at another branch took months and produced to results. Finally, I came to Mr Muhammad Hussain here at this branch. He promptly responded to my concern, attended to the matter personally, regularly updated me in regard to the progress of the transfer, and today it has been transferred. I can't tell you how grateful I am! I must say Mr Muhammad Hussain is a great person to come to if you need professional service and advice. Thanks again!

This was my first time at this branch. My regular bank was not able to issue me a new card so I was a little annoyed on my drive over. Both of the ladies working very friendly with the customers ahead of me. I had Megan and she was super helpful, polite and made conversation with me, which doesn't happen a lot these days. She didn't even know I was in a mood and it made my day better :)

Never had any issue in the past but I tried to get information on an investors edge account and Sarpadam Kaleka wasted an hour of my time lying about the process and told me I had to set up a non investors edge RRSP and TFSA first before I was able to make it an investors edge account. After hours of being on hold and online activations I have found out that he provided nothing useful and just wanted to activate an account I did not want in the first place. He was misleading and now I am having a hard time closing the accounts he tricked me into opening. In my opinion the experience I had showed the practice of this individual to be manipulative and unhelpful. I feel sorry for anyone who sits down with him to discuss their finances.

I went to the bank asking for a service when I was approached by the branch manger who was so rude and racist. I filed a complain but CIBC client care never took my complain seriously. I’m in process of closing my accounts and move to a different bank that respect their clients.

Muhammad Ali Hussain from Shawnessy CIBC location, thank you for your awesome service! I am customer of TD bank, but I taking a mortgage and opening account with CIBC bank because of great personality;; on every my questions he explained and answered on basic language, (not specific banking language), excellent communication and customer service. Cibc is always giving me a hard time. I avoid calling or going down. But when I do eventually need something, it happens to always be the one thing that they can’t do. If I’m at the branch I have to call the help line! If I call the help line I have to go to the branch! Meanwhile all of their recording say go online, where you can do much of anything at all! You definitely can’t do everything in one place. It’s like they are competing, but not to get your business, rather to avoid your business. I’m so tired of the extreme amount of β€œwhatever” attitude. Quit if you don’t want to do your job! Make room for the people who do!!

Unfriendly and unhelpful staff. Long wait times. I was stared at by the tellers here immediately I got in. I don't know why. I suspect I look different from what they normally expect to see. It seems like there is no diversity here. The teller that attended to me Marylou was not particularly nice or kind. She did the basic minimum and did not make an extra effort except to be unfriendly, and thrust my receipt at me. I saw more engagement and kindness shown to white customers but a basic disrespect and disregard in some CIBC branches (such as this one) to people of African descent.

I tried to call the branch numerous times in the morning to get some information before I made the trip into the bank. I normally don’t deal at this branch, and was considering opening an account here because it is closer to my house than my branch. 4 hrs later I’m sitting in the parking lot reading all the reviews about my branch and this one. No return phone call, and all these great reviews I decided to take my business elsewhere. TD answered my call first ring and an hour later I had a new account. KICK YOU TO THE CURB CIBC! CIBC, you should be ashamed on how you conduct business! This is customer based business and you have made it clear that you don’t care about your customers. NOT ONE REPLY TO A BAD REVIEW! If I were to leave a bad review at a restaurant, the owner or manager usually replies apologizing and wanting to make things right. Not at this bank! Very clear that they don’t care about what their customers think or they would reply.
