Staff is constantly changing had three different people everytime we renewed our mortgage. When you can't keep staff it says alot about the management. The problem we had was on person would get us rolling and then when we returned they had left If this was a one time deal I could see it being normal But we have went through three different ways people who have all left. Leaving us up in the air one person was supposed to get us rolling on the tip program. They had us sign papers and everything and it was never put into place. HORRIBLE Bank.

Was almost approved for a loan over the phone until the gentleman realized I work in the cannabis industry. He told me CIBC would not support me since I made this professional choice. I gave my branch in Okotoks a chance to rectify the situation and they had no answer for me and took over two weeks to contact me back with an answer. It took 20 calls to even get a hold of the loan lady or anyone to answer the phone at the branch. I had to pretend like I was making an appointment on the line for them to answer. I had been with that branch and bank for 15+ years but I guess my business and money didn't mean anything to them. After phoning them and waiting for an answer I phoned Scotiabank in the mean time and they had the money in my account within 24 hours and I have never been happier with a bank. They treat me with respect and there is never any lines. The CIBC in Okotoks needs a new manager (where is she?!) and a renovation. They didn't even ask me why I was closing my account when I did. Just an every day transaction for them. They don't even deserve the one star.

I was in there today and I found this branch unwilling to work with me. I was trying to get a 90 day statement for my own tax free savings account, which apparently they are unable to provide me . When I asked to speak with a manager I was told that they were unavailable (no time was given as to when they would be available). I ended up sitting in the branch calling CIBC phone support. I am seriously thinking about trying another bank after this experience today.

I have had such a wonderful experience at this bank since moving to Okotoks. The tellers have always been friendly and helpful and there is never a long wait. Today I scheduled a meeting with Kathleen and it was by far the best experience I have had at a bank. She was so knowledgeable and helpful. She went above and beyond what I had hoped to accomplish when I met with her. She was very genuine in helping me to ensure that I felt knowledgeable and comfortable. She connected me with the CiBC imperial service which I am surprised I have never heard of before because it is such a great service for non-savvy investors like me. I look forward to continuing my banking with CiBC.

I have had the misfortune of dealing with this branch for almost twenty years. On two occasions the Lady responsible for the mortgage simply didn't phone me back when the interest rate was determined . She later told me that she could have given a better deal and that it was up to me to call her back for the approval information. Needless to say I was furious. I don't think she even processed my mortgage request. A broker was more than happy to assist. On several occasions , the constantly rotating staff ,have missed investment maturity dates and I've had GICs rolled over into low interest investments. On Friday I determined that the 2.56% management fee they are charging me for my rrsps is amongst the highest in the world. When a lady from the bank phoned me back today, she didn't even give me her name when she answered my questions and hung up the phone without as much as a good bye. I'm apparently an imperial customer Whatever that means. I'm frustrated I have payed so much in fees and service charges to be treated like that, while my investments have under preformed. Today i started the difficult process of moving my investments and accounts out of CIBC . This will be a slow process but i don't trust this branch to treat my money the same way they would treat theirs! Looking back i should have made this move many years ago. CIBC is prepared to charge big bank fees and return substandard service.

First of all they don't have a business transactions related counter. Recently the branch has reduced the hours for cash deposit and other related activities. Today the Manager turned me away in spite of showing up during their posted hours. NOT IMPRESSED.

This location used to be good but since there was a shift in personnel the quality of the service went down like Titanic! Phone calls are not being answered, emails are being answered with a huge delay, online help requests are not being answered, requests for call back are totally ignored, etc. But they will call you to inquire if you're interested in one of their products! They also decide randomly to take an extra mortgage payment from your account for no reason (we never missed a payment!). Not impressed at all with their poor service and I'm happy that I'm not banking with them anymore!
