Was really excited to unbox and try out my new Traeger Timberline XL . While I was taking out the boxes packed in the cabinet I noticed how tight they were in there . That was when I seen that somewhere during shipping something had pierced the box and severely dented the side of the unit . Called Chadwicks and Hacks and after some photos were sent put me in contact with Traeger customer service . Called them and the rep got me to send pics via a phone link and immediately told me they would be sending another grill out and picking this one up . It took 2 weeks to complete the exchange of the BBQ `s but just received my new one in perfect condition . I am very happy with the excellent customer service at Chadwicks and Traeger .

AVOID!! Took money in December to fix a baking element in an oven. Told would be fixed by end of February. Now close to six months later they have no ETA on arriving part. We have been held hostage by this company because we have no oven to use. If they want to make this right they know who to contact RE: Work order 450223. Otherwise we have no choice to advise all potential customers of the lack of service this company provides. I will update if anything come of this. Update: Received the refund from Chadwicks. We gave Peter Martin appliances a call and amazingly they had the exact part that we needed to fix our oven. Got it fixed in two days since the refund and remember we had been waiting since December. ALMOST 6 MONTHS. So all this leads me to believe is that Chadwicks and Hacks do not go the extra mile and check with everyone to see if they have a part in stock. They would rather let you be without an appliance for months on end then to provide any level of customer service. Please avoid the headache and deal with someone else.

Bought a BBQ from Dillon (Dylan?) recently and was really happy with the process. To be honest I've had poor customer service here before but this latest experience was honest, professional and just all around very good!

I visited them for my rangehood repair and the customer service associate asked for deposit and mentioned that it would be refundable if they couldn’t repair it under $150, they will call me and take my approval to either move forward with the repair as per the suggested cost or to leave it as is and recycle the appliance free of charge. Today, I had a call from them and they provided an estimate of $869 to complete the repair which I obviously declined however they refused to return my deposit and mentioned that we need to give it to our technician. This is a bad experience and terrible customer service. YOU MUST honour what you have committed to the customer. I hope the future customers take this feedback into consideration while dealing with them.

I had a fantastic experience with the staff at Chadwick's & Hack's! Not only were they super knowledgeable about the products they sell, their customer service was second to none. It is truly difficult to find superior customer service but Melissa and the team certainly provided it to me today. I would recommend them to anyone!!

Great service and prices. I ordered the Napoleon Prestige pro 825 and love it. It is a massive grill, but so versatile with infrared sear burners and main grill with durable Napoleon burners. Gary and entire team were amazing and got me my barbecue just in time to grill a nice Waygu Tomahawk steak for my Birthday. Steak turned out awesome going slow and finishing off with reverse sear.

First time customer of C&H Fireplace & BBQ. Small item, 3 new control knobs for my Weber Genesis BBQ. Price was great, customer ordering and service well above average...and the product was across the province and in my mailbox within 72 hours. What a find. I would not hesitate for a moment in recommending this amazing retailer. Always nice to know some folks just plain know how to satisfy customers. Keep it up.

Great personable service. They were very friendly and knowledgeable when discussing the smoker grill I was interested in, which is why I chose to buy it from them. The purchase was during the pandemic and I was given the wrong store hours (new hire got it wrong) so I showed up on a Sunday when they were closed. Since I was coming from Oshawa, I made a quick phone call to them and left a message explaining the dilemma and they immediately called back and told me they were sending someone to open the store for me! They acknowledged their mistake and threw in a bag of charcoal at no additional cost. Great customer service and I would do business with them in a heart beat.
