★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The service call is cheap $$75, they said on the phone that the $75 is waved when you get the job done but the minimum service is $275 + tax + tip. I asked what is the minimum service amount and they can't say it on the phone but it is $275!
I spent $350 for a drain cleaning. In my opinion they should be more clear with the expenses AND IT IS NOT CHEAP!
Just to be clear, the technician did a great job. The problem is that there is no cost transparency.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Called Same Day Appliance Repair for an issue with our 2 year old KitchenAid oven. The staff was very pleasant over the phone. When the technician arrived he barley looked at the oven. We took the backing off of the oven for easier access. The technician told us that the repair would be $600.00 plus tax. We did not go ahead with the service. Instead we took the entire backing of the oven apart on our own and realized that we could completly fix the problem by bending a small piece of the convention fan. Problem solved. Was not happy with the lack of service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Technician quickly diagnosed the issue with my dishwasher and gave an honest assessment. We determined it was cheaper just to buy a new dishwasher, and he provided helpful brand recommendations. Very good value and peace of mind from a $75 service call!
