Dr. Karen is highly professional. Polite and caring staff. Pro active. Love bringing my cat to this place for his physical coz I know he's in good hands.

I do not recommend her as a vet because we had prepared our kitten to be spayed well in advance with a physical exam. I took time off work to take her to her spay appointment. One hour later her office phoned me at work to inform me of extra charges that I was not informed of when I made the appointment ie: extra charges for IV which is expected to be included in the spay cost surgery. An hour later I received another phone call at work from the office worker to be told to come pick up my kitten, the surgery was not performed because "the vet was offended" because I had asked where her qualifications were because I hadn't noticed them on the wall. The staff told me they were in a drawer somewhere, but they didn't know where. I ended up picking up my kitten on my lunch break, which meant my kitten spent four hours there for nothing. For a so-called professional, she acted very unprofessionally, bonafide vets normally are proud to display their qualifications on their office walls, yet hers were in a drawer, according to the office worker. We pet owners need to know that we're leaving our pets in trusting hands and we did not see her certification and we did not receive her professionalism. Beware.

Stay away from this place. The owner is rude and has mental problem. I don’t understand why she can still run the business. Absolutely evil don’t bring your cat here.

All she thinking is $$$. My cat was with them 12 yrs ago due to blood in urine. Cat was kept in for 1 night for urine sampling, also took x-Ray. Paid a lot $$$, but they couldn't even figure out what the problem was, so we switched to another clinic and my cat was treated well. Since then this place has been on my blacklist. However, today I had to call to ask about in home euthanasia for the cat who is now 15 yr old because my vet doesn't have license to provide this kind of service on site. Instead of answering my inquiry she wanted my cat to be brought in for treatment (indeed $$$), when I refused and continued to ask about euthanasia, she jumped gun and made the comment that my cat wasn't under a good care with the assumption that the cat had never been to a vet before to be put down by the owner. She then made the comment "If you are planning to have another pet, take a good care of her by taking her to vet." What I didn't want to say to her over the phone was: 1. My cat doesn't need treatment from you because you suck! 2. My vet isn't like you who only concern about $$, and has told us there was no point to give treatment to the cat. You have my name, number, cat's name, search your records and see what kind of "good care" you have provided to the cat 12 years ago. At the end, she finally said they could not offer service on-site due to COVID19. And I finally realized that all she was trying to do was to steal this business from other vet when she lost the privilege to offer service on-site. Money money money! Your sales skill sucks just like your vet skills !!!!!!!!!!

Honestly the experience at CatCare was terrible. Our first visit the assistant was rude and quite obviously did not want to even talk to us. We brushed it off and continued to go there anyways thinking maybe she was having an off day. However that was only the start of one of the worst vet experiences we have ever had. First, they would charge us different prices every time we bought food (Even though we bought the same amount each time). Plus they would overcharge on their different 'tests' that they would do. (Another vet has charged us much more reasonably and it's always been the same price!!) Second, they called our cat 'violent' despite every other vet calling her an absolute sweetheart. Since she was 'violent' Dr. Karen told us we have to give her 2 pills of 100mg Gabapentin prior to each visit. A large cat is supposed to have 100mg of gabapentin for vet anxiety. My cat was just at the cusp of slightly overweight barely even large. The next day she began puking so much that she was lethargic and unable to move. Dr. Karen told us that gabapentin will not cause such symptoms and said we have to drug her again or else she would not even look at her despite the fact that our cat was literally unable to move from dehydration. Third, when we began having our kitty at a healthier weight Dr. Karen said that she wanted our cat to be at her previous weight (overweight) so that we would continue to give her the maximum dosage of Gabapentin. While every vet we have been to since has said she does not need to take Gaba. Fourth, they managed to give our cat ear mites. Dr. Karen took a look and confirmed that it was ear mites. When they asked if she came into contact with any other cats (she doesn't she's an indoor cat) they realized their mistake. (she had been at Catcare 2 weeks prior) Suddenly Dr. Karen backtracked and said it was most likely allergies. Despite she having the same food for 5+ years, yes it was definitely allergies. However here is the medication for ear mites. But yes. it is allergies, not ear mites. (Literally what I was being told as I left her clinic) TL;DR: Terrible place that almost killed my cat and blamed my cat for being 'violent' (she's literally the most docile kitty on the planet), overcharges (and charges different prices every time despite buying the same thing each time???) and gives excuses that they need to do different tests to overcharge. Told us to keep our cat fat so that they could continue to get us to overdose my cat on the drug that nearly killed my cat. Refused to own up on their mistake and tried to blame it on my cat's non-existant 'allergies'. Poor Quality (Vet and assistant are both rude), Poor Value (Over charges on everything and doesn't even know how to keep it consistent), Not professional (almost killed my cat), Not reliable (blames their mistake on sudden (fake) allergies) Go somewhere else. Don't go here.

Dr. Karen and Megan are an amazing team. My Leo is a rescue cat that I adopted at age 3-ish. He's now 14 and has been in Dr. Karen's care since I got him. I've always felt that my cat's health was the #1 priority for the Cat Care team and our communications have been professional and cordial. The practice is a first-rate facility and I know Leo is getting the best care possible. Love you to bits for being here.

Just the absolute best. Hands down. My cat is very combative, they handle it very well. We are in the process of moving internationally, and they have been very helpful with that incredibly stressful process. The vet has always had a very calm and measured response to each aspect of our cat care. I really can't say enough good things.
