I was charged for an item that I didn't purchase. I was pretty shocked because the Asian girl working there was friendly and helpful. I got 2 sodas and 2 little things of Pop Rocks and she tried to charge me over 19 dollars! I asked for the receipt because that seemed insanely high. She folded it and stuffed it deep down in the bag. When I left I immediately checked the receipt to find out an item was put on my bill which I didn't get. It was over 3 dollars and had a distinct name like it was clearly a product she put on my bill which I didn't purchase. When I went back she said it was taxes and I had to ask out loud "3.19 is a tax??" She gave me a mumbled excuse which made no sense about how the machine must be broken then refunded me the money in cash and didn't give me back the receipt. Luckily I kept the print out from the debit machine from my original purchase. Pretty sure this young lady tried to rob me and I'm not happy about it. If it's a mistake I'd suggest you be a lot more careful cause if it happened to me then it's happening to other people too.

Had a few neat things but a pretty small selection overall. The main reason I gave a low rating is the cashier. At no point did she even say hello, she was on her cell phone chatting the whole time she never even stopped or said anything while I paid, she just pointed at the debit machine. During the mask mandate she had her mask completely pulled off her face.

Terrible service. They have no clue about customer service. They inflated prices by an additional $40 right on the spot and then refused to sell the product, claiming they need it for their bulk bin. The older ladies working there were rude. Go to a different place to buy candy!!! You’re getting ripped off here!

Pricing is decent, but shop is a bit of a hodgepodge that can accommodate a mere few and was candy *chaos* last time I was in.

Loved the selection, but rated one star because there were no price tags on the candy at the front of the store, and when I went to ask the cashier she said 'oh, I just tell you how much stuff costs' which set off some alarm bells. I thought I was being paranoid and kept shopping, then I found one of the candy packs she told me was $6 marked $4 in the back of the store. She said, 'oh, it's an old price tag', and removed the $4 tag. I felt suspicious she was overcharging me, so I put my candy back and left.

There’s plenty of places to buy candy, but not one like Candy Candy. Family owned business where each purchase is supporting small local shops we need to keep alive. They have a great location in the heart of the mall we all know and love West Edmonton Mall. Located by the beautiful indoor water park and just across from Rocky Mountain Chocolate. Selection of all the Candy you love, and many you need to try. Fairly priced you can’t help but go in for one thing and come out with a bunch. My son and I make the trip to the mall just to hit up this shop to grab our soap candies, cinnamon lips, and all the other amazing candy we can’t live without. The owner is kind, and very friendly. At the end of the day supporting family and local businesses is where it’s at. Having it be a candy shop in a place you have so many reasons to be makes the choice a no brainer.

All of the candy is VERY old, most of the hard candy shattered, and ridiculously overpriced. The store is so small and cramped, overall, a terrible experience. Some of the candy tasted expired or spoiled, but gummies were rock hard, the prices are seriously OUTRAGEOUS! Save yourself the money and disappointment and go to a different candy store (there are tons to chose from in edmonton) or go to one if the other chocolate/candy outlets at the WEM

They had no price tags, and the old lady was very rude. Immediately upon entering the store she rushed from behind the counter to watch me and my friend to make sure we weren't stealing. I wasn't even 3 feet into the store. This store is over priced. If you want good reasonable candy go to rocket fizz on whyte ave
