We are a family operated Candy and Chocolate business in Edmonton. There is nothing artificial about Carol's Chocolates. We use Chocolate from Belgium, real cream, natural flavours and real liquors, following old family recipes to create extraordinary taste treats. Our store is located in Old Glenora area of Edmonton. We have been in the business over 30 years.

Owners Grant and Carol Logan have been making sweets for 30 years, including special treats from the past, such as Grant's original marshmallow and crunchy peanut brittle. They want only the best for their customers.
We have large selection of British imported sweets, Dutch licorice, Haribo candy from Europe, sugar free candy and chocolate, the hottest new kid candy, soap candy, Ganong chicken bones, licorice pipes and the list goes on, this sweet shop rivals Willy Wonka's factory.
At easter time, handmade chocolate bunnies are beautifully hand-decorated Easter eggs line the show cases, bringing back memories from your childhood. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love chocolate, I love chocolate, I love chocolate did I mention I love chocolate. In fact there is a lot more here than just chocolate. There are a lot of unique candies, liquorice, and imported items from Europe. I have known Carol for close to 30 years when she first started selling chocolates. The main feature is of course the chocolates and they are very good. The service is great and friendly. The ambiance is great with the store full of chocolate and candies. I have always been coming here and enjoy it every time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I absolutely love this place! Hands down the best chocolate i’ve ever had. I love the vanilla belgium chocolates, made by Carol and Grant themselves with real vanilla! Also the chocolate covered marshmallows that Grant hand makes are incredible.
Definitely should check this place out if your in the mood for a sweet treat!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I like the variety imported sweets they have in the store, but absolutely everything is extremely overpriced. There's regular items that you can get from Costco (for example) that an priced tenfold. Their imports are overpriced compared to other stores of it's kind too. I respect that while something that costs 60p (~$1.00) in the UK can't be sold over here for that it shouldn't be sold for 4--5 times that over here. It's rather absurd. Also it's very hit or miss on their jarred candy as to if it's stale or not... be wary.
If it's not much hassle I'd recommend shopping around.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This hidden treasure is an amazing place to visit, just ensure you book enough time to really look around the store. Carol and Grant are some of the kindest owners you will ever meet, and they have survived so many small business hardships, even pre-pandemic. Despite all this, they still contribute heavily to the community. The chocolate quality is second to none, and you can taste the difference in freshness between the candy at Carol's and that at other stores...e.g. I really did not know what Conversation Hearts tasted like until I tried them here: who knew they were not supposed to taste like hard chalk?! Carol is so open to making custom chocolates to meet your needs, and I have to say: what could be better than an edible heart or egg filled with your loved one's favourite candy/chocolates? (a big hit at Valentine's and Easter with my whole family!)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great selection. I found that some of the regular candies I purchased before weren't as good quality as before. Purchased chicken bones which used to have lots of excellent quality chocolate in the center but this time 1/4 of the amount. Not the store's fault because seems like this happens with most products today. I wouldn't buy them again because not worth the price I paid. Also had the salted licorice that looks like chalk pieces...that used to have much more filling in the center and is near empty as well. The other items are awesome. Definitely would go back but will eliminate the two I was not happy with.
