This is the worst location I’ve ever had to deal with. Avoid it!!!! I’d give it zero stars if there was!!! Very unfriendly and unhelpful staff and a manager with terrible customer service skills. When I told the manager they have bad reviews and low ratings, and they are losing customers he simply didn’t care! Whenever I have to deal with returns or the customer service desk, there is a long line up and no ones problems were solved. Always finding a way to not be helpful. I go to other locations especially the one on Mavis and Dundas and they solve my issue promptly with a smile from both manager and staff, although they are very busy often.

Doris at the Car Service desk is an excellent customer service representative. She showed extreme patience with our many questions. Considering it was over a wheel barrel tire and Doris works Car service, she went above and beyond to assist by calling departments and other stores to assist us.

We visited this location to buy a swing for our backyard. Store was amazingly well maintained and staff was very helpful. We realised that the package won't fit in the car but they helped us to try to validate it. They share with us some other options to get the unit delivered at home. Also They assured us to not to worry as they will help us in loading the unit incase we arrange another vehicle. Staff was very polite.?

In the Southwest Mississauga region this is definitely one of the better Canadian Tires to visit. Clean, large, and well-stocked store the availability of product is accurate for what is shown in the app/online based on my recent visits. Store has ample product, as with other stores the aisles are a little crowded at times.

I have had different experiences in the same store. The customer service staff is very rude. Specially the managers. They will give you a hard time to return an item (unused within 30 days). Some of the employees are better who would go out of their way to make sure that you find what you need and will genuinely help you through your shopping experience. Also at Canadian Tire, anything not on flier is basically a rip off. You really need to know the value of items or you could end up paying 5x for what it's worth.

Went to get my first skates to this location. Tyler was very pleasant and knowledgeable about the product. He made great recommendations and helped a lot in choosing a right pair. Also, he offered to sharpen the skates at the time of purchase. Everything was done quickly, professionally and to the highest standard. This man deserves a promotion!

UPDATE!!!! I asked my dealership to look into a strange noise I was hearing from the front driver's side wheel well when they were changing my tires today. It turns out that Canadian Tire left me a little something extra. Vice grips! Fortunately they where locked in tight enough not to have gone flying while driving on the highway and endangering lives. There is nothing Canadian about this Canadian Tire. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. They are very well versed in separating the inexperienced from their money. My son took my car in for new rims. This was his first experience dealing with car maintenance, and I thought Canadian Tire was a reputable, trustworthy organization to start him at. I WAS WRONG. They tried to sell him TPMS sensors for $70/tire. My car is not even equipped with TPMS. I'm not sure how my car ended up attached to the alignment machine after the promised return time. He was never asked if he wanted the alignment checked, of which they were going to charge me $56 for whether it passed or not. And to top it all off, they supplied me with two different results apparently taken at the same time. Not sure which one they were using to diagnose my alignment issues. I was also told that I needed new lug nuts (for a total of $60) because my old ones were damaging my new rims. I do not trust this and will be taking it to someone I can trust before I decide whether or not to return them.

I visited this location late yesterday afternoon. Two things made yesterday's visit made it a bad experience. First was the poor customer service I received from one of the employees. The second was the difficulty in locating the item I wished to purchase. The first and worse part of the experience was the customer service provide by one specific employee (I won’t give her name and will just reference her by her first initial, K.) I was at this location looking for a kitchen faucet I found on the Canadian Tire website. The website indicated that 3 units were available at the Hyde Park Road location. After much searching, by son and I were not able to find the unit I we wanted. There were no employees near us, so I went to the front of the store and found two employees, a cashier and another employee, K. Since the store was not neither were serving any customers. The cashier verified that the store inventory showed 3 units. She asked K if faucets were part of the Hardware department. K responded in the affirmative. At that point, there was an awkward silence as the two women just looked at each other. Sensing that K wasn’t going to respond further, I told her what I told the cashier about not being able to find the faucet I wanted. K said that I should check aisle 19. I explained to her that I already did but was unsuccessful in finding the faucet. K said that sometimes the inventory numbers are wrong. When K didn’t say anything else, I asked her if she could check; I was hoping she would help me look but all she did was recheck the inventory numbers and verified that 3 were supposed to be available. I asked K to help me look. She then said she would call someone to the aisle and for me to go and wait. I did so; while waiting my son and I resumed our search. After a while, we noticed no one had come to assist. I went back to K, who again appeared to be free and told her that no one had come. K simply said that she had called someone and that I should just wait. I was hoping she would call again to make sure someone was coming but instead she said that maybe the person was assisting another customer and I would just have to wait. My impression was that K was only going to do the bare minimum for me. She never smiled or gave any indication that she actually wanted to help. K never offered to do anything unless I explicitly asked her to do so. I've been to many Canadian Tire stores in the past and found the employees to be very helpful and more often than not, they volunteered to help me find what I was looking. Sadly, this was not the case here. The second issue was locating the item I wished to purchase. Had this problem not occurred, I could have avoided my whole misadventure with K. The Canadian Tire website showed 3 units available at this location. In the store there appeared to be at least a 100 different model faucets on display on one side of an aisle. Each displayed model had a label identifying the name of the faucet, the Canadian Tire product number, and price. We identified our faucet by name but we couldn’t read the Canadian Tire product number since the display model was too high up. Below the display models are shelves with boxes of faucets, stacked on the shelf with a label identifying the price and Canadian Tire product number. We found it very difficult to find our faucet on the shelf as the boxes did not display the Canadian Tire product number. We unsuccessfully attempted to get help from an employee. (See above.) Eventually we found what we wanted but only by looking up the unit on the website to find the Canadian Tire product number and comparing it to the number on the shelf label. This store could make things easier for customers if the labeling system was changed to reflect that used in the Meadowvale store. There, they put a large number on the display model; the same number is put on the label on the shelf. I hope the store looks into these problems. As it stands, I’m not likely to shop here again in the near future.
