Here’s what you can expect at Calgary Spinal Decompression Centre. We are a Spine Care Centre addressing lower back through to neck problems. At your initial consultation, you’ll begin with a 30 minute expert spine consultation with Dr. Alan Chong. His 30 years of clinical experience helps to determine exactly the nature of your problem. Additional tests and procedures may be required in the assessment and care of your spine related problem. He will personally have a sit-down appointment with you to review your findings. And only then we’ll discuss effective treatment options so that you can make smart decisions about what treatment is right for you.
At CSDC, you decide what care feels right for you. Remember, our goal is to help you with effective non-surgical treatments that work for you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been diagnosed with bulge disc at L4 and L5-S1, mild degenerative disc disease in lower lumbar spine. I was in severe pain and walking was impossible. I was also placed in short term disability. I took prescripted medication like, gabapentin, naproxen and topical cream. I've also tried physiotherapy with core exercises weight loss and also visited different chiropractors and nothing was working, this put me through depression. Finally my wife found Calgary decompression centre where Dr. Alan Chong assisted me and gave me a thorough examination. Now I'm on my 6th session and my back feels much better than before, I can now return to my usual activities but nothing crazy. Dr Allan Chong is the best chiropractor he has changed my life.I would highly recommend it to anyone who has been experiencing back pain.

The treatments and information I was receiving was ineffective and I knew I needed to do something to regain my active lifestyle. I requested a MRI which revealed I had L3 herniation together with a Degenerative Spondylolisthesis at L4.
After researching spine clinics and reading the reviews I made the call, had a brief conversation with a warm and understanding receptionist and within days was on my way to getting my life back.
Dr. Chong did a thorough examination, asked many questions, studied the results, explained my condition in detail and came up with the best personalized plan.
In just 5 treatments performed solely by the Dr. himself, I’ve started back hiking and resuming many of my daily activities. I still have a ways to go but cannot be more thankful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After trying many therapies with no avail I found Dr Chong and made the effort to travel to Calgary from Australia to try his treatment regime.
Both Dr Chong and Alda have been very helpful. The treatment has definitely eased the pain and I'm just over halfway through the sessions.
Anyone experiencing disc problems I recommend seeing Dr Chong and trying his therapy before attempting any type of evasive surgery.

I'm a bit of a severe case with a previous break in my lower spine and have seen many specialists who only put me on heavy pain meds and told me there is nothing they could do to help me and the intolerable level of pain. on a daily basis I was an easy 10/10 for pain and that was with pain medication. Dr. Chong, his knowledgeable and helpful assistant Alda and this amazing decompression treatment has helped me ease off my medication, I am gaining more stability and movement. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have had chronic neck and spine pain and mobility problems occurring because of a motor vehicle accident in 2005.
I was T boned by a heavy hauler Freightliner pulling a full size loaded 52’ van full of peat moss.
The truck driver blew through a stop sign and subsequently my car slid under the truck trailer frame (as he crossed highway 28)and was getting crushed by his trailers rear tires. I was knocked unconscious and had internal injuries and several broken bones.
I have now completed 20 sessions of care from Dr. Allan Chong and haven’t felt this good in 16 years since the MVA.
Dr. Chong has a wholistic approach in his practice and was able to identify 4 different treatments that would improve my overall health.

But since I started spinal decompression treatments my pain has been gone!! I can now bend and work for a long period of time without pain!! I have traveled 12hrs lately without pain at all!!
