To use our free pick-up service, call your Budget rental location directly at the location phone number listed on your reservation confirmation. Pick-up service policies (hours of availability, allowable pick-up distance, etc.) vary by location so it's important that you call the location and make arrangements for pick-up at least 24 hours before your desired rental time. When you call the location, be ready to provide all applicable information including precise address, exact time of pick up, and a phone number where you can be reached at that time.

Please note that an off-airport Budget location cannot pick you up at an airport that has a Budget location. In this case, either you must rent your car at the airport location, or provide your own transportation to the off-airport location where you prefer to rent

Needed a car rental last night as my boyfriend's truck broke down. We booked a pick up truck online and went to pick it up 3 hours later. They did not have this truck that we reserved and offered a SUV which isn't what he asked for. Also the lady wasn't willing to help a situation where he forgot his pin to his Visa card because he doesn't use it. It's only for emergencies. He had proper identification with him that included 2 pieces of ID. She said for him to call his bank. The bank couldn't change the pin over the phone and the banks were closed, She was rude when I asked if she could manually enter the VISA card number and take an imprint of the card to show that it was present and she refused. She said they required him to enter his pin as it's company policy, which is not true. It states online the Budget website "At the time of rental, the renter is required to present a valid driver's license and credit card with his/her name imprinted on it. The name/address on the credit/debit card MUST match the name/address on the driver’s license" He had presented both these. She was rude, disrespectful and not helpful at all to our situation. If he had just flown in from another province he would've been f***** I worked for Budget myself years ago and this can in fact be done we always took imprints of the card ALWAYS because if the car was dropped of early and after hours you have to manually enter the final amount of the invoice. I would go above and beyond to try and figure out a way to help a customer and leave them highly satisfied with our service. Even the VISA customer service rep was baffled she refused to do it. I wouldn't even give 1 star if it would allow me!

We had a positive experience at this location. We needed to change the first vehicle and this one done promptly without question. Tara at check in was fast and friendly.

Have payed for the Rent online, when i came and realize that my vehicle doesn't exist in this location, next to that it was extremely complicated to get changes to my reservation, i gave up, and took the car (one in stock ?‍?, way cheaper than i ordered) of course with no price adjustment !! More than that, i asked the person over the counter to upgrade with full tank option prepaid, once i get the car returned in Edmonton Airport, the nice lady told me the nothing was prepaid and i needed to pay for full tank 96cad for the vehicle with the 60cad cost full tank of Regular gas ⛽️. NEVER AGAIN!

Brought the vehicle back in the same condition. No cracks in windshield, gas full, under the allowed kilometres. Week later after it was dropped off Budget charges my card an extra $305.09 without contacting me. I fully prepaid using Expedia so there shouldn’t have been any extra charges. No email, no phone call or explanation as to why. Last time I’ll ever use Budget again. I would seriously advise people to stay away from this company. There are many others at Edmonton airport. Hertz has always been good too me. I made a mistake trying out Budget. Don’t be a victim yourself

Check in lady was super unfriendly should not be in customer service. Talked to me like a 5 year old. Very abrupt and not helpful at all. Also didn't have any knowledge of the online booking process. I specifically booked through budget website to get what I wanted and fell extremely short. No online option for winter tires and specific options for rentals were not available as discovered upon check in. Also to extend a rental please don't call anywhere else but the location you picked it up from. I spent 45 minutes on the prompt 1800 number to get the run around. Ridiculous process only to find out they couldn't help me and I was told to physically visit a location. Once I called the local location it was extended in 5 minutes

Quick easy pick up and the car was amazing. I'm not a big Chrysler fan, especially the 300's but the 2022 300 sport that I rented was a super fun car to drive!!! Use your Costco card and go to costcotravel.ca to the drop down menu and select rent car, if you rent using your Costco card you get a pretty decent discount!

As a 29 yr old male, I was treated as if I was thinking of stealing the rental car. I was taking a weekend trip to Calgary (from Edmonton) and needed a vehicle for 2 days. I rented at the airport because it was the easiest and cheapest option for me. I was asked why I was renting the car from the airport as renting in the city would have been cheaper (all the car rental places close early on long weekends). As a paying customer I did not appreciate being profiled in the this way. Check out was easy and painless however.

After telling me that there was no car available and I had to wait 1 hour for it; I complained, (Our flight was delayed but we have a 24 grace period to pick up the car. Expedia call it in... ). Somehow they found me a car within 25 minutes. The car was in very good condition as promised, served us well and the return was simple and hassle free. Customer service was very good, overall...
