We had an amazing flight both ways on our trip! The airline attendants were incredibly sweet and helpful. My daughter even got an inflatable ball for our stay. I will deffinetly rebook with this airline

We usually book online, but we chose to go into an Air Transat location to book our vacation. The agent told us the price will not drop and there were only 4 tickets left at that price before the price went up. 5 days later we look online and the price dropped $100. We went in told the agent working that day that the previous agent convinced us that was the best price. This agent told us that we could forfeit the $250 deposit and pay for the cheaper vacation. Do you think we are STUPID or something. What a SHADY business. We go on vacation 3 times a year and always book online, we will NEVER book with a shady company again. Will lose our business as well as many other friends and family that usually use your company. WORST customer service and lies to get the sale.

Very mediocre service. Customer service didn’t even respond to me. A passenger beside me who went to use his e cigarette in the bathroom got in trouble for setting the sensors off, then just continued the whole flight from his seat with no repercussions at all. I was going from yyc to yyz for a funeral and didn’t have spare time to land because of this guys actions- thank goodness we didn’t have to. I went to England a bunch growing up on transat but definitely will avoid flying with them and pay more if need be to fly with another airline in the future.

You do not receive final results with this company. The associates are very helpful and sweet but you need to ask every single question and tell them and get it written before hand. EG. We booked with Air Transat to Cuba (supposed to be direct flight) and it was VIA YYC. We were in the air plane for close to 2 hours. We had specifically asked and they said it is direct. Then we said okay maybe we misunderstood so I called and the second time they said yes while you are going it will be VIA yyc but when you are coming it will be direct. The arrival was longer then the departure. It was suppose to be a drop off but there was technical issue. Then fuel had to be put in .. etc. We came home to Edmonton at 2 AM! we were suppose to be here at 12am! Also - when booking you are taking a risk. I had asked about everything for the hotel but it isn't like that at all. Had the worst trip ever. To all the parents - FYI - They DO NOT give your stroller at the door of the airplane so if you have two children, you will be carrying them! I had told them specifically to have my stroller and they still didn't bring it.

This review is on option plus in flight service I have been using option plus for many many years enjoying all the benefits. It is no longer what it was. The price has gone up and the services down. I had to ask for our comfort pkg and headsets, By the time they got to us with the meals there was only one I Option left and that we could not eat Option plus services should ensure this does not happen. Was never offered our snack, Champagne or bar services. Usually you get 2 drinks and champagne. I had to remind the attendants that we were option plus. Air Transat needs to train attendants on option plus service. It's is now horrible service for the cost. No special. boarding at airport Option plus is not worth it if you do not get service that you paid for from the attendants.

DO NOT BOOK WITH AIR TRANSAT!!! I have a flight booked from Calgary to Puerto Vallarta in which I need to change the flight down due to unforeseen circumstances. I tried to change the flight to be 3 days earlier then then the original day. Their response was a hard no. So I've had to book another flight down 3 days earlier, leaving 2 seats empty on my original flight down. Because I was UNABLE to CHANGE or even CANCEL. Its apparent they only care about the $$$ for the seat and not the customer that fills it. Honestly I would like to hear back on how hard that would actually be to change. Seeing how there was plenty of seats available.

Buyer beware : A holiday flight can turn into ground transportation - 300km bus ride with flight to follow - a Horror trip with 10 hour + delay Sunday morning flight Edmonton to Cancun turned into a horror trip - technical failure of the airplane - 3 hours of uncertainty then a $15 food voucher and an hour later a bus trip to Edmonton announced - bus shows up, everyone bords the bus to find out 30min. later that this is not the bus to take us, toll free number gets anwered by seat reservation staff that has zero powers to be. Airtransat has no customer service on weekends!!! By the time the bus is scheduled to reach Calgary 9 hours have passed since scheduled take off and all on a $15 food and beverage gift certificate. Arrival at the destination will be 10 hours delayed.

Not terribly impressed with the service from Air Transat. I'll start by saying we were not allowed to board the plane as a group with my grandmother who is in a wheelchair, and did not know much of what was going on. We were forced to the back of the line which caused confusion and frustration for all of us. As well, when we booked our excursions through Air Transat at our destination, we were not given vouchers or a receipt because apparently "the machine was not working". We were told that just having our names on the list by the tour companies would be fine. As we checked in for our excursions, it did in fact create problems and delay our days because we did not have the vouchers or proof of payment and the tour companies had to sort it all out for Air Transat, instead of your company doing its job. Finally, our bus to pick us up and transfer us back to the airport to return home was 40 minutes late! Our representative informed us she did not know what was going on, that the driver could not be located, and to get a taxi instead. As you can imagine, this was also very frustrating and forced us to rush once we got to the airport. This is hard to do with someone in a wheelchair to begin with. The only good thing I can say about my experience with Air Transat is that the plane itself was nice. Other than that, the whole company was very disorganized and not helpful at all in all other aspects. I will not be booking with Air Transat again.
