p	pearcey magic on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just tried to speak to a fellow brit about my expiered passport. Very nice building and have to say it was very welcoming to see the same crown sign on the doors that's on my passport, made me feel at home....Thats where it finish, you are unable to open the door as they lock them and have you pick up a phone outside the office itself. A Canadian lady was very blunt and dismissive and just told me to look at th UK website and put the phone down. I wouldn't waste your time coming here as there is no point to the building apart of course to show face they have a fancy building. VERY DISSAPOINTED THAT THIS REPRESENTS MY HOME LAND.
j	j zak on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You require a appointment in order to use the consulate. As far as getting information on a Visa. I used the email service which costs ~£5.80 per email. Calling costs £1.37 per min. At least with the email I was able to send a few emails back and forth to find out the status on a Visa. Takes a while to get an answer (4-5 days) though. Don't expect an answer other than look it up here or we will escalate this etc.

They explained that they were a token show ( ambassadors and PR work ) and all business was conducted electronically ? They were kind and affable; so if you discount being totally useless they displayed courtesy to me while explaining they would not and could not help me.

I couldn't have asked for better service and it took the strain out of a situation which had been causing my guest great concern. Many thanks!
S	Susan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pathetic.....German consulate has great ratings and accepts in person requests to renew passports. What is the value of an administrative consulate that doesn't even answer calls!
S	Steven Carpio on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This may as well be a third-world country call centre. The consulate exists in name only and is not actually available to help with anything. All you will get here is a circular and useless phone menu. What a useless and pathetic waste of taxpayer funds.
