He is everything you are looking for when it comes to teaching children music, patient, kind, knows his instruments and fun! He makes lessons enjoyable, all my kids actually look forward to their lessons! They even practise so they can show Stelth how they have taken his advice and improved. Stelth is also very accommodating and a great communicator. Highly recommend!

Before I started the lessons, I knew that the early stage of learning violin is usually much more difficult than any other instrument, but I hadn't expected the lessons could be taught so smoothly and naturally until I had my first few lessons with Stelth! He is an extremely detailed teacher and was able to guide me through not only the basic technique fundamentals, but reading music as well as showing me how to properly maintain my instrument. After two and a half months of lessons, I'm now already on Book 4 and super excited! As a music lover, I also had an interest in learning the piano and also recently started piano lessons with him on top of my violin lessons. It's super convenient not to have to go to two different teachers/schedules since Stelth was a double major in both piano and violin. He also helped me with purchasing the right piano to get started! I would definitely recommend Stelth to be your instructor if you are curious and passionate about the violin and/or piano, because he can help adjust your practice routine according to your particular needs. One of my takeaways from my lessons with him is that it's fun to learn as long as you have the heart for it! Relax, have fun, do your scales but don't forget to work on tunes you know the sound of and love as well!

He is very patient with kids and every lesson is pleasant and he teaches music theory as well so that my daughter could understand more about tempo, rhythm, how to read notes, and all the details of each title not only proper posture in terms of how to hold a violin and a bow. Communication is always very straightforward and clear so that the parent, the student, and the teacher we are all on the same page. I strongly recommend him.

He is quick to notice bad habits and technical mistakes, and provides helpful strategies to address them, but in a gentle and patient manner. He conducts his lessons with humor, which is greatly helpful when things get frustrating. The fact he teaches both the violin and the piano is also extremely nice. You can study both the violin and the piano with him, or switch effortless between the two. For those who are studying violin, he is also quite an accompanist. It has been a privilege studying with Stelth.

What stood out for me about Stelth is that he guides me to correct my techniques, pinpoints to me what I need to improve upon and the specific reasons why I am producing certain sound. He is a very fun and interesting teacher and often gets too excited talking about music in lesson! He also knows the instrument very well. On a side note, I took a photography lesson with Stelth, the man of many talents, and he is just as awesome as he is as a violin teacher. For anyone who might be interested in having a professional headshot or shooting music video after your lessons, he is your guy. In a nutshell, he’s cool.

As an adult learner who hasn’t played violin for over 10 years, I found myself picking up the skills quite quickly with Stelth’s instruction. He also set step by step exercises for me to build up my skills gradually instead of rushing. He helped me correct my problems with intonation and posture. The classes were fun and very organized. He also patiently taught me the music theory and set good foundation for advanced violin study. Through the classes, I am more passionate about violin and very motivated to practice daily. I would highly recommend Stelth for anyone who are interested in learning violin.

As an adult with a negligible music background, Stelth has consistently made it so simple and fun to learn this tricky instrument. Stelth has also been really flexible in accommodating my booked schedule (I'm a full-time student and I work part-time but he accommodated evenings, weekends, and/or afternoons as needed, which I really appreciated).
