β β β β β Customer service is pleasant but I wish I could say more for the goods. Tried this place many times and have been disappointed every time.
No real flavor to many of the pastries, blueberry and chocolate muffins or the various types of berry scones. Bland cakes or just simply unexplainable flavor. I got the carrot cake once and the carrots in it were large chunks and the cream cheese frosting tasted like mayonnaise. I asked others to try it as I was confused and they had no idea what they had bitten into.
Their croissants and pecan tarts were the only things we collectively noticed were consistently good though they do have a wide selection of items so we didn't try everything.

β β β β β A hidden gem tucked away in the champlain center. Their cheese sticks are always fresh and I love the new garlic sticks! Their rustic sourdough is authentic with a crispy crust and a chewy tangy interior-as good as san fran! Make sure to try the brownies, almond croissants, rugelah & cranberry oat bars

β β β β β Bonnie's has every kind of baking you can imagine.
Lots of their baking has a Dutch influence... Which means the pastry is divine. Honestly all their baked goods are delicious.
The ham and cheese croissant is my favorite, you gotta get there early to get one ?

β β β β β Best cheese bread mini loaves ever. Any time I am in the neighbourhood, I stop in and grab one. Generally the lil' loaf I bought is gone before I leave the parking lot :D

β β β β β One of my favorite stops at Champlain square that has been around forever. The staff are friendly and the items are always fully stocked. They also take custom orders that you can place for cakes, cookies, etc. Make sure you go to the βday oldβ shelf for some goodies that are half price and still great the next day.
