★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good grocery store. Its a PC branch so you can pre-load offers from your email with the card and save points to redeem for money off. I just wish they still price-matched but they stopped a couple years ago. :/ The parking lot can be a nightmare at busy times.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very tidy grocery store. Very reasonable prices and good selection. Big deli section with nice looking meat & cheese platters and veggie or fruit platters. Can order large party size platters ahead of time in person in the deli section. Plenty of free parking up front but does get quite busy. Nice neighborhood grocery store!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Surprisingly expensive. And the name is just a lie... They aren't independent. They're owned by laws. Which means they have the same selection as Superstore. But at 25% higher costs. A $3.29 bag of tortilla chips at Superstore is 3.99 at YIG. More from memory: $11 cheese vs 11.99 at YIG. $9.49 roast chicken is 12 at YIG. It's all the same stuff, same parent company. So why the huge differences?
Every other person at the checkout had very small purchases. Guess I f'd up.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They don't have common herbs and spices like basil or whole black peppercorns in the no-name brand, just the tiny bottles of expensive brands. The quality and selections of red meat has seriously dropped off. They no longer sell ground beef by the lb, instead selling pre-formed "beef patties" of lesser quality meat.

Prices are good when on ad, otherwise go elsewhere.
I usually go there to get my favorite cinnamon buns in the bakery but the price has gone up too much. ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Has everything anyone needs and the parking is extremely convenient. Also thr Tasty wok restaurant right outside is always so tempting.
The prices they offer there are amazing. This is some superstore discount pricing. You can see some similar items from my superstore review and compare with this place.
