★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I rented ski equipment online from Black Tie before heading to Whistler. I tried contacting them a day before for fitting but no one answered the phone/replied to the web chat. I went down to their store at 730am today (it was stated that they open at 730am) but was told by a hotel staff that they are closed for the season.
I am disappointed with their service because they did not inform me of the closure beforehand. I planned only a day to ski.
Thankfully I found another rental store nearby. Even though it was slightly more expensive, but at least I get to ski and it is not a wasted trip.

They delivered our equipment to our hotel room and came with several sizes to make sure that we were all fitted for the next day on the mountain. The next day I was having some discomfort so I stopped in the store. They fitted me again with different ski boots and were very helpful. I would definitely recommend Black Tie rentals for your trip to Whistler.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Its my first time renting in Whistler, I usually bring my gear but this time I decided to just rent. The booking process was easy and questions are answered fast. The entire process of fitting and getting the gears was amazing. I don't remember the names of the staffs that helped us but they were great! The return process was easy as well! Thank you so much Black Tie Rentals Staff :) will surely comeback to your store!

Also had a few laughs and lots of help from Ed - you guys are really terrific - excellent customer service! The whole experience was seamless from reserving to returning the gear after my big ski adventure (first ski day in 15 + years).

I have never been skiing before and found the team here really helpful, everyone was knowledgeable, professional and ensured I had the correct gear on to make sure I had a great first experience skiing.They answered any questions I had and made me feel very comfortable. At the end of the day the process was quick and service was awesome! They asked how my day was, answered all my questions about what to look for when purchasing skis. I couldn't have asked for better customer service!
