★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This hotel is perfectly located downtown Montreal. However, it is an old building and some things are not working as expected. We only stayed for 2 nights for work. The TV does not have stable internet connection, so live channels don’t work. Plus there is no availability to connect to Netflix or any other provider. The beds are somewhat uncomfortable.
If you need to be close to downtown, then this is a good hotel for that but if you are looking for comfort and rest, better go to another place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stayed here in the height of Covid, October 7 2020 to attend a US Consular interview. Due to social distancing, the trip itself was a bit lonely. However Best Western was extremely professional and handled guests with utmost care and Covid precautions in mind. My room was extremely clean, reuse items were cleaned and packaged to prevent transmission. Though no restaurants open in the hotel, we were permitted to order in straight to our rooms. I successfully completed my interview and returned home with no infection, so I was very grateful. Thank you Best Western!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: The staff was very friendly and extremely helpfull. Would like to specially mention Jessie, who gave excellent customer service and made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Thanks a lot! Negative: Usually hotels offer breakfast fir its overnight customers. That was the only thing I missed during this stay. If it was included, the staff didn't mention it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Spacious room for a decent rate. Parking was reasonable but the only trouble was that I had to park on the room since there were no other place to park in the lower level. I used the stairs and carry down my two suit cases, my hands and feel kills me after that. I do recommend that you guys should ask the parking company to rent you 10 hotel reserved parking spot on the lower level or have valet parking system. You can have the parking with a fixed cost of $25 a night and it will be cost effective for your hotel. Also, you guys really need to fix the main entrance door, it was really hard to get into your hotel. Another thing, can you guys install a ramp? Stairs and suit case doesn’t really work that well. There are many more architectural problem I see but I will stop here. I am thankful for your service, you guys treat me well and welcome me with a smile. Thank you for adding that microwave that I requested.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hotel we booked had been turned into a COVID testing site, so we were shifted to this hotel. We read quite bad reviews so we were a bit scared. We also read the 2nd floor had been turned into a homeless shelter (which the front desk rep confirmed).
When we entered, everything seemed clean and no bad odor. The front desk rep was really polite and we were given a room on the 5th floor. Elevator was small, but no odor in the elevator or 5th floor hallway. The room itself was clean and organized. The bed was comfy while the pillows were not our type. The heater and AC worked as expected. The hot water runs a bit hot so be careful not to burn yourself. We were pleasantly surprised and happy with the outcome after reading the recent reviews. I wish we had taken a few pics to show after entering.
One suggestion would be to bring your own toiletries and also your towel, as they’re a bit drying on your skin.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hotel was in a perfect location and the staff were friendly. The room was clean and had comfy beds. The only thing is that the walls are very thin and I could hear everything going on in different rooms around. The heater was also very loud in the room. Overall I would recommend this place to travellers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Front desk clerk was very polite when we checked in. It was just my husband and myself and we only needed one bed so that's what we reserved. Room was small, we found food left in the fridge, no microwave, floor was dirty. We booked for 2 nights and we are hesitant on other reservations here since we have to lay for parking also and room cleanliness is not all that. Very disappointed in this hotel and we have stayed at many best westerns in our travels because of the services and cleanliness of their facilities but this one has changed our thoughts. The location is very convenient so we could walk to the places we need to and our next reservation is scheduled for when we are to go to the Embassy. Husband and I were itching most of the night, not sure as to why but it was not a cozy night sleep.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a wonderful day in Montreal and then checked into this Best Western hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean, cozy and had a real European atmosphere. The bed was very comfortable. It was a great place to unwind.
It is also located walking distance to the Bell Centre where we enjoyed watching the Montreal Canadiens play. You will also find a number of other shops and restaurants nearby.
We are looking forward to returning here on our next trip to Montreal.
