The hotel's cleaning staff room was across our room and someone was doing something in there around 7am everyday. It would all be fine if it wasn't for the rattling & squeaky wheels on the laundry cart. Please get some oil to those wheels!! Also, there was a ripped towel in the bathroom, should not happened. The staff was not proactive in asking if we need water, coffee etc. This should be a priority when you tell your clients that sheets/towels etc. will not be replaced or checked daily due to COVID-19.

The staff were friendly and the room was clean and the location is especially great. I will go to Montreal again in November and I want to stay here again :)

Services are at a minimum No parking Often restaurant and bar closed No housekeeping Won't be coming back because the disappointing service has happened for a few visits now Definitely over priced for what you get. Book somewhere else to get the amenities and valet parking! This place gives you nothing. They should at least include breakfast

I booked a King bed room from a Monday night to Thursday morning as a business traveller. I have stayed at the Renaissance previously for similar trips. When I arrived on Monday at 10:30pm, the Marriott system was down and there was a line of 3 guests waiting the check in. Check in was manual, including pre-authorization of the credit card. This was an inconvenience but not the end of the world. The room was sufficient, although soundproofing was limited and I could hear other guests partying in other rooms. Again, not a deal breaker. On Wednesday morning, I showered. I could see a heart etched in the steam of my shower glass from a previous guest, and two (two!) hairs up on the wall of the shower. I wished I had checked earlier in my stay but I finished my shower. As I left in the morning I asked the front desk employee to please have the room cleaned before my return, and he said it would be no problem. I returned at 12:30am on Thursday, and the room was untouched. There was no communication or action from the hotel. I was extremely disappointed and would not return to this hotel despite the convenient location.

Once again this is such a disappointing experience. Three times a charm with my bad experience in trying this hotel after covid. There are many hotels in Montreal that have a restaurant open they have a bar open and they have parking on site. I am a single person and do not like to have to go into an underground parking across the street. I'm not having the restaurant open not having valet parking not having ice I couldn't get a martini glass from downstairs the restaurants not open and across the street the restaurant is not open. I just came from a long day of work and all I wanted to do was sit at the bar and have a meal. This room is $300 a night and there is nothing nothing about this experience that is worth that money. When you lose out and all the amenities including housekeeping oh, I question why I would ever come back here again. It is misleading they need to tell you that a hundred percent of everything is closed

We stayed here a family of 4. We got one of the rooms with a separate sleeping area for the parents. The door between the rooms is more like a screen than a door and does not lock. Staff was very helpful and service was great. Our room was on the 4th floor facing the back and early every morning we were woken up by the dumpsters being cleared. Parking is across the street, you don't really get assistance with luggage. Location is great close to city center and walkable. Restaurant is nice too, enjoyed happy hour. We will return if we can get a more quiet room. Hotel is clean and modern. Lobby is cool.

A nice hotel. Well placed within Montreal center, rooms are big and big windows (presentable and clean), parking limited and off course NOT included. Service, neat and responsive. Be sure to try the Breakfast in bed, a real delight. Very modern room and spacious bathroom with a nice touch with the see through bay window. A nice location, close to multiple services nearby.
