Never buy warranty,no service at all specially Sunridge Location,Calgary. I buy my electronics from Best buy normally with warranty. But this is the first time I had to use my warranty for a laptop. At the time of selling they say that they do onsite Geek Squad repair but actually they don't even keep laptop charger in stock. They say they send it to Vancouver & they ship from there,it takes 2 weeks approximately. They should have these parts or universal laptop chargers in stock that can be replaced instantly if they are selling warranty. I recommend not to buy any warranty plan from them.

Please don't do meaningless customer service. It's surprise to see how poor the product knowledge some of the associate have. When I ask question about the product, he literally search on the website, which I already did my own research at home. The whole point for me to go to retailer is because I WANT TO SEE THE ITEM IN REALITY. Besides, several shelves are empty. After 10 years, I still missing 'The Future Shop'.

Wanted to buy a muse in the personal care area, was told to go to the area three times and a sales Rep would come help me. Went and waited each time only to go search out employees who were all in different groups talking and laughing, each time I went and asked for help got told to go to the section and they'd get someone to help me. It was at a time when the store was dead so I could tell the groups of employees weren't busy with customers they just wanted to socialize with each other. Disappointing service I eventually just left after not being helped for the third time and waiting 10 minutes for the third time. It's cool, you simply didn't want my money

Upgraded my phone in January 2022. Bought the Geek Squad Protection Plan as well. However, they didn’t have any screen protectors in stock at the time. I came in at least 4 times from January-March looking to get a screen protector installed. I give them my phone number and details but they still said I don’t have a protection plan with them even though I get charged $18.89 every month for it. I ended up paying around $40 for a screen protector and installation. Ended up paying close to $80 for a useless protection plan for 4 months. I highly recommend avoiding the protection plan if you want a screen protector for your phone.

This place has the greatest employees ever. Sarah you are amazing. Thank you for making it the best shopping experience I’ve ever had. Immediately you greeted me and my kids with a beautiful smile and was so helpful with our purchases. Best Buy is so blessed to have you on their team. You are so sweet with kids and eager to help out in any way you can❀️ Also, Bunty you are so pleasant to deal with. You helped us out with your recommendations and you answered all of our questions with care and patience. THANK YOU SARAH AND BUNTY!

I generally like Best Buy with their extensive return policies. The only issue is the staff: very hard to get a hold of a staff member and the few staff members working the floors are always busy with customers. Based on other reviews, Best Buy could improve by hiring a bit more floor staff.

I like the overall design and organizations of the items in the shop. I have the impression that the employees enjoy working there (they are literally smiling almost all the time). And you get help almost instantly by just making eye contact pretty neat ? A shout out to Brodie the dude was super helpful with providing information during and after my purchase I didn't even know best buy had additional benefits

If you want to get ripped off then go ahead and shop here. I placed an online order at the end of March and was double charged. I was told that this would be reversed in a timely matter, and I still don’t have my funds back. I made it aware to them that I will not be able to make my car payment due to their error but to no avail. Here is what I have received as an answer: Our team is working diligently to reverse the duplicate transaction, by working closely with our payment processing partners to ensure this is resolved as quickly as possible and banks are notified. At this time, our Customer Care agents do not have any further information, but rest assured we will send you another update as soon as more details are available. This is not acceptable, it has been a week since this error has occurred. I am certain that if I owed Best Buy any money they would act a lot quicker to respond. As I mentioned I have now missed a car payment due to their error as I had those funds set aside specifically to make the payment. Will they pay me back with interest? Likely not! I will never again make a pic jade with Best Buy and will discourage anyone and everyone to buy anything there. I may also contact my local news on this issue. This is theft and their simple apologies don’t cut it.
