Home Depot is well known for high volume blind sales with cost-effective pricing. Their primary lines are Bally, Levolor and Hampton Bay. They follow a lower price, lower service sales model, similar to most big box stores. Pricing is standardized and fixed. The department representatives do their best to analyze the needs of the home owner and send their best on-site teams to do in-home measurements. At Beacon Height Paint and Design, we’re local & family run which translates to being service driven with an unmatched focus on customer needs. We’re certainly not perfect, but very little slips through the cracks when you’re family run and care about the small stuff. That said, because we set pricing in-house without needing approval from any HQ, we’re able to be very competitive with the big box store. It’s important to note that when all is said and done, you get what you pay for and this certainly applies to the customized and long-term value of any blinds purchase.

He was able to explain the differences with each option we were interested in and we thought he gave honest appraisals of each. We ordered and the timelines he provided were accurate. If we had any questions, and he was easily reached and gave thorough timely responses. We highly recommend his service.

I must say that I was extremely impression by Jem and Graham. I brought a stucco sample and they were both able to match my stucco 100%. Now keep in mind that it wasn't an easy task since a) my stucco is 25 years old and b) it uses different colours Well, let me tell you that they matched it 100%!!! There is absolutely NO WAY you could tell the difference. I am extremely impressed! I can now fix more cracks without being concerned about colour matching!!! Thank you Beacon Heights team!

I actually met a staff member at a competitor paint store she told me Beacon Hill sold 1/4 empty cans so I called Graham right away, he was friendly and put aside his last remaining cans for me to pick up. Upon arrival his mom was super friendly and amazing, she transferred the paint into the cans at no cost. I spent all day driving around town trying to find these cans and I am most appreciative that they provided these cans as we have a tiny space and would have trouble storing all the gallon ones thank you everyone i will not hesitate in using this location for future painting needs.

We have been shopping at this store since it opened, and have always been given the best advice. Most recently, we remodelled our kitchen (in preparation for sale) - the team provided all of the paint and supplies, and offered support through the whole process. We called the store with what we wanted, and an hour later, I pulled up to the store and Graham personally loaded it all in my vehicle for me! I will never buy my paint anywhere else. We met Graham who is the owner, he was so very friendly and professional and well educated about window coverings. Graham provided a timely quote that was very competitive in comparison to others.
