About Beacon Smiles Dental | NW Calgary Dentist
Born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, Dr. Aaron Mah completed his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Calgary. Dr. Mah then completed his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the University of Manitoba. After graduating, Dr. Mah returned to his native city of Calgary where he has been practicing dentistry for over five years.
Dr. Mah is a passionate and kind dentist who always holds his patient’s best interests at heart. He is an active member of the Calgary District Dental Society, the Alberta Dental Association and college, and the Canadian Dental Association. Dr. Mah strongly believes in preventative dental techniques so that you always have a healthy smile. He educates and advises his patients to allow them to make informed decisions and to receive the highest standard of dental care.
When not in his office, Dr. Mah is active and enjoys playing hockey, soccer, golf, and bowling. He loves to travel with his family and has a strong passion for food and is always seeking to experience new flavors.

It’s always a pleasure catching up with him and having him work his magic. I continue to travel from the deep SW because the experience is always great.

I have visited a number of times in the past few weeks and the environment and service at every visit has been amazing. Everyone has gone above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and at ease at every appointment. My most recent appointment was today, where I had fillings done with Dr.Dhillon and Hailey. Both were very calming and made the entire experience enjoyable, with absolutely no pain or discomfort. Thank you to everyone for making a difference in my dental experiences.

The staff at the front are very friendly and helpful. All of the Hygienist have been great. We have used both the dental services and orthodontist and have been felt taken care of. My daughter has anxiety around dental work so she has been able to get gas when need be. But she has become really comfortable at Beacon smiles!

The front desk took the time to answer all my questions and even send through paperwork before our appointments to see what would be covered. The hygienist was so patient and good with the girls, and the dentist was great with my girls and validating when it came to my own oral history. I’m so glad I found them!

I was greeted by the very polite ladies at the reception, and I could feel that their sincere approach and smile came from their heart.
I was then received right away at the exactly booked time (without sitting in the waiting room) by the Dental Assistant which did her job with a pleasant attitude and professionalism.
After the x-rays and pictures and as well an 3D picture of my set of teeth were done, my dentist Dr. Moore started with the exam of my teeth, followed by taking her time with explaining the results in-depth by showing me the pictures, the x-rays, and on the basis of the 3D model.
For the first time here in Canada I felt taken serious included in the process and planing of the procedure to come. Now I really can say I know what needs to be done and I am ready for that.
Dr. Moore was so kind, patient, and extremely professional, I am very happy I found this place!
It really impressed me what kind of modern and advanced technology they utilize, and the dentist office is super modern and each room is separate, with 2 flat screens, one at the wall, and the other one mounted to the ceiling, that's awesome (you can watch your hockey game while your teeth get treated...)
The way Beacon Smile Dental operates is very professional and makes you feel safe, and you will appreciate the staff's kindness and the way they treat you ?
