WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER HAD. JOE BENCE JR has zero ability to provide customer service and I recommend people never do business with him. Once my papers were signed and I was out the door JOE BENCE washed his hands with me as a customer and another sale was made. I'm assuming JOE JR does business this way because his daddy, JOE BENCE SR, owns the business. Therefore JOE JR has never faced any recourse for his inability to provide customer service on a competent level.

I wish I could give zero stars. My husband was traveling back home to us from the military just for the weekend. His breaks ended up going, and luckily (so we thought) he was at least stranded beside this dealership, so there was hope for somebody to have a look at it for him in the morning. He slept in his car for the night, in the cold, and went in first thing in the morning to inquire. He was flat out told no. Absolute refusal of service. It’s definitely understandable being busy in a business, but instead of politely giving him options for when they may be available, or just giving options on maybe what could be done, they just flat out refused. Very rudely at that. I am also seeing another review posted with a very similar situation. So clearly this is a pattern and just simply how they treat people in general. He was also traveling in uniform, so they were even happy to treat a soldier in this manner. Who was simply just trying to get to his family for just a couple days, after months of being away. Being busy is definitely one thing, but the way he was treated is absolutely wrong.

Sales department seems fine but I would never buy a vehicle here because then you have to deal with parts and service Dept. I ordered a steering shaft for my 2011 F150. I was told on two occasions over the phone that it was $105.75. When I went to pick it up it was $450. I told them the only reason I ordered it was because at $105 it was only $10 more than Amazon. I was told by Bob Bence that the Amazon part wouldn't fit. I had no choice but to buy it and they told me they would give me a "deal" at $359+tax. Couldn't pay for it at the dealership because their debit was down so I had to go across the road to their restaurant and pay so no receipt. Ordered the part from Amazon anyway because it was $97 and free returns and lo and behold it was exactly the same part. Fit perfectly, the only difference was the Amazon part came with new bolts and the Ford part didn't. Got busy with work but was talking to Joe Bence a few months later and he said bring it in. I take it in and they can't find the original invoice or order or any paperwork. Big surprise. I tried to sell it online and find out from several people that it's only $300 original cost. I can buy it right now at this point for $267. Is Kaladar so far north that you have to pay extra for parts? I was planning on buying one of the new fully electric F-150s when they come out next year from this dealership. Definitely won't be now.

If I could I would give a half star. Against the advice of other members of the community I came to Bence. The word in town is the owners reputation is dwindling as of late, for issues that do not concern business. Regardless, I decided to give it a try as I do not want to go to Ottawa, Kingston or Toronto. The staff is extremely unprofessional, arrogant and rude. It has that small town attitude. Joe has 0 customer service experience and left me feeling helpless when discussing a trade in. I thought this to be a one off or a bad day however, several customers I know have told me his personal life is getting in the way of his business and it is obvious in the way he treats his customers. I was told this dealership was a hand me down, It is unfortunate that success and emotional intelligence couldn't have been inherited with the business.

I bought my car from Joe in 2018 and have never had a problem. Always amazing service These people make you feel at home! I went in today for a simple tire change as I do twice a year, And I couldn’t have been more impressed with the precautions that they’ve been taking with this whole COVID-19 pandemic. Keep up the great work!!

I drove 3 hours to get the best deal on a new 2021 F150 Lariat truck. I drove 3 hours 8 years ago to get the best deal on a F350 King Ranch. Great people, very professional, will be back again.

Tammy, Joe, and Danielle made the purchase of this truck effortless. My business partner and I came down from Ottawa to check out the truck. We get there and Tammy simply hands me the keys. Being used to city dealerships with paperwork and pushy salesmen, I was surprised. The truck had 24km on it, and by the time we were done our test drive we'd doubled that! Every other city dealership that I'd been to insisted on coming along with us during the test drive, which was never the most comfortable experience. These guys at Bence Ford know how to do business. Let the truck speak for itself. We waited to meet with Joe (sales manager), and made a deal on the truck then and there. It was great having to deal with only one person for all the paperwork, compared to having to deal with the sales rep, their manager; the finance rep, and then their manager. Joe did it all for us. Also, these guys have the best selection when it comes to SuperDuties, hands down!
