★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I live here. I wish i did not.Har- Par investments is running the place. Worst place i have evet lived. Place is infested with roaches they dont provide gravel or sand for land lord to clean the ice. They do not respond to repair inquiries. Laundry omg absolutely terrible. Do no rent here.
Care takers are great. Har- par investments is the worst.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am writing a review specifically for the renovated apartment I lived in for 2 years on the third floor. Barton Place offers great value for their renovated units for the price. My one bedroom apartment was quiet, it was very spacious with a huge bedroom and a large living room, it had a nice view facing a park, a balcony, a storage room and a parking spot included. It had a new dishwasher, new laminate floors, new kitchen and bathroom cupboards and countertops and a new tub. It was the most convenient place I've ever lived. It is a 30 second drive to the Whitemud, 2 minutes to Calgary Trail, 2 minutes to 111th and Southgate, 8 minutes to South Common, 10 minutes to Whyte Ave, 10 minutes to south Henday and I could get anywhere in the city in 32 minutes. The building managers, Jesus and May, are very friendly, kind, and responsive. They respond within two days to any maintenance requests and questions. The cons for me that come with the reduced price and older building were not having in suite laundry, no elevator, no gym, and no option for underground parking. Overall, I'd highly recommend a renovated one or two bedroom unit for anyone looking to save money on rent.
