But here Theer is a vape shop across the street. Its a nice school and would recomend to people
S	Second-hand Literateur on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went here for a single year, and it was literally one year of pure agony. Some students seem to believe that deprecating others was the ideal form of enjoyment. No words can adequately capture the true nature of this school. Good luck, I guess, to all who elected to spend their junior high years in this pathetic excuse of a school.

E	Erin Latosa on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ From my time at D.S, the teachers aren't that bad, but they're also not that good. I only love a selected few like Magee and Savoie. The phone policy is considerably fair, unlike at my High school. The learning commons is pretty neat bc it's big and sometimes clean (students ahem ahem). P.s before I started studying at D.S, I've heard some pretty nasty rumours. They may or may not be true. My only advice is u gotta choose the right crowd and think about the future u wanna see yourself in. Your peers won't be able to rmbr YOU n your mistakes, so take risks. Shame is temporary, regrets are forever.

Everytime i would visit the washroom, there would be a strong smell of mint and blue raspberry because of the vape kids.Also dr. Payne is a creep when I was slacking off he would ask me to stay after school for 'tutoring help' but I refused.me and my 6 other friends recently left ds mackenzie and transferred to st. thomas aquinas. we felt very welcomed at st. thomas, very terrific school compared to this trash hole.
p	peeely 2829 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible school, the teachers are extremely rude and the principle is a literal creep. David Krawchuk (Japanese teacher) used to encourage bullying and had his favourite students in class. He always gave the female students a higher score and didn’t compromise with those needing extra time. Shawn Magee (Physical education and construction teacher) bullied and isolated students who forgot to bring in their gym uniform, he split students into groups and was extremely racist towards those of color. He forced students to go outside in the extremely cold and harsh weather while he was comfortably dressed up in a heavy warm jacket. The principle and the secretaries did not regulate the school. They in fact tolerated bullying and encouraged students to skip class as they did not provide a welcoming environment. Don’t go there unless you want to mentally horrify your child.
K	Kuku M on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This school was not bad at all until Dr Payne came into the scenes. Dr Payne had an ok image at first but his actions spoke otherwise over time. Not only did Dr Payne creeply follow students around, but he also stuck his tongue out numerous times as he walked through the hallways and terrified the pure children. Not just the principal who was bad, but also the gym teachers they have working there. Gym teachers in DS Mackenzie have a reputation of making fun of their students, perhaps going to the levels of verbally bullying them and sometimes even allow the kids to have physical altercations with one another without intervening. Last but not least, they have a really bad Japanese teacher who also taught English that goes by the name of David Krawchuck. That man does not teach well nor is he a good example for students; he focused more on getting laughs and showing off his love for the Japanese culture more than he did to educating students about the English literature. Overall, this school was not bad at all, but it's current state with the bad principals and teachers, I must recommend that you shield yourself from this disaster!
