Discovery Place Preschool - Edmonton

This pre school was crap for 2 years I have had nothing but problems. If you go to her web site only good testimonials are permitted on there. So only if you are asked to do so Mrs Gow. She screwed me on child Subsity 250$ then had rhe nerve to tell me I owed her money Subsity said she was very irregular and she would charge them different amounts each month. One month 50 the next month 100 and another month nothing at all. My child has autism and so he had a developmental aid he got excited to be there. she would not let me drop him off or pick him up I was told not to come there and given her cell phone number if I had any questions. I wasn't even allowed to go in one day to hang his jacket and backpack as he waited for his DA, and because he had a DA they figured it was her job to teach him and work with him they even had the nerve to ask my DA to run their gym class as they stood around and watched and my child ran around disorientated. Mrs Gow is fake and speaks to parents like we are her preschool students and she is snarky. Her after school care is even worse I've seen her children running around not even supervised as 3 of her 8/9 year olds physically handled my 4 year old and there wasn't a teacher in sight took 5 min for them to get her and for her to come over and assess the situation then told me her children were scared of me for standing up for my 4 year old of coarse they were like my 4 and 6 year old were of them. This preschool did nothing for my child and when I wrote my first 1 star review she kicked my child out of school and called the cops didn't even have the balls to talk to me didn't even tell me he was kicked out but told the company we work with wouldn't even talk to me and banned me from her room it's been a month and she still won't even return his belongings McKee is run by her sister so probably no better I'd watch out don't walk run away there are much better preschools out there.

My twins loved their time at Discovery Place Preschool at McKee school. Mrs Cale has been a wonderful teacher and always was kind and patient. They have great 'in class' field trips, she communicates really well with parents and she was wonderful with little kids. Would absolutely recommend for anyone to attend. Well run and educational program.
