K	K M on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I recently had to change dentists as this place charges way more fees than any other dentist I’ve been to. I’ve always used my insurance everytime I’ve been there, which is supposed to cover 100% cleaning and check up, and had a $100-$200 bill left over after all was done, of course they don’t tell you this before your appointment even though they have to run your insurance through prior to your appointment. The new dentist i started going to recently is completely covered. Will never go here again, complete rip off.

I have been going for the last month to get finally my rotten teeth fix. Dr. Acton is excellent so its Catherine his dental assistant. Thank ti their extraordinary service I finally getting my teeth fix. Adele at the front desk as well very good. This clinic also offers payment plans. They will work with you. According to friends and family that see dentists the prices are also very good. I have nothing but praise for all the staff at this clinic. Thank you to you all. ?

However, they are so nice and accommodating here. They really put my mind at ease. 10/10 would recommend Southgate Dental for anyone looking for a dentist. And they direct bill!

We went for cleaning and we submitted 2 insurance coverages to use coordination of benefits. After we were done, the dental office pursued us aggressively to pay an outstanding balance. We reviewed the bills, our coverages and we were sure we had enough to pay for mere cleaning. They followed up with insurance companies and they were paid! Almost a year later, we assumed they had a better working relationship or handshake with insurance companies and visited again. And again, they aggressively pursued us with calls, emails, whatever. claiming an insurance company is delaying a part-payments similar to how it happened before. We asked if the insurance company says we have little, inadequate or no coverage for cleaning but they said the insurance DID NOT say that, they were only delaying effecting the payments and weren't just forth coming. We were tired as we have exchanged endless calls and emails - to them, to insurance and what have you. Finally, an unprofessional receptionist called, yelled and threatened to send the balance to 3rd part collection agent. This they have been threatening and they did. We disputed the claim from the recovery agent and we are forever disappointed with this office. We have had cleaning done in another dental office without any headache whatsoever!!!!
W	Willow Wemp on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had an emergency dental situation happen over the weekend (Sunday) & after calling multiple places, Southgate Dental was the first one I got through to reception & had me connected to a dentist on call almost immediately. Dr. Hamm was able to help me with pain management and set me on course for righting the situation that same day. He personally followed up with me twice to ensure the pain was managed and I followed up with my prescription. Very knowledgeable, was able to explain what was likely going on and reassure me this was a fixable problem. Very grateful for him taking time out of his day and getting me out of a very painful situation and started on treatment.

Dr. Acton is knowledgeable and extremely personable, he made me way less nervous about removing my wisdom teeth. All the dental hygienists have been awesome as well. Sim was very charismatic, sensitive to how I felt during the cleaning, identified a loose permanent retainer and helped me fix the situation. All the staff are incredibly welcoming and accommodating. I would greatly recommend Southgate Dental!

My husband has been going to see Dr. Kelly Acton for many years - when Kelly was practicing in Spruce Grove. After we got married in 2015, I was looking for a new dentist and, since my husband was very pleased with Kelly, it made sense for me to "adopt" Kelly, too. I've been so very impressed with Dr. Acton's down-to-earth manner and his skill. I've had some negative dental experiences in the past and Kelly and his staff have eased my nervousness to the point where I actually (almost!) look forward to my dental appointments! I've also been very happy with every hygienist I've had at Southgate Dental Centre. Today was no exception. I had the privilege of having Sim perform my cleaning. She was funny and knowledgeable - sharing many valuable tips and facts. Sim was also incredibly sensitive to my tiniest flinch or hand gesture indicating discomfort as she cleaned my teeth. I really am very happy to heartily recommend Sim and all the staff at Southgate! They really are great!
