About MacDonald Periodontics
Dr. Nazia Abrol is a board-certified Periodontist in Canada. She pursued her bachelor’s degree in dentistry in India (2011) and further upgraded her studies by completing her Masters in Periodontology (2015), with the highest overall achievement in her program. After dental school in India, Dr. Abrol moved to Canada to further refine her skills in Periodontics. She received her specialty training: Master of Science in Periodontology from the University of Alberta. Dr. Abrol is an active member of the American Academy of Periodontology.
“Do what you love and love what you do” – that is what defines Dr Abrol. She is a huge believer of teamwork and believes that great things happen when working as a group. She has extensive experience in the surgical placement of dental implants, including immediate implants and computer guided implant surgery, hard tissue grafting (including guided bone regeneration and maxillary sinus augmentation), atraumatic extractions, and soft tissue grafting. As a certified specialist, Dr. Abrol focuses on a few unique procedures that are done extremely well using state of the art and evidence-based techniques. In her spare time, Dr. Abrol enjoys spending time with her family. She married the love of her life Sumit in 2015 and has 2 beautiful daughters Shivea and Sanah.
