Today was my second visit with Dr. Kumar. I left there angry and unable to hide me tears of anger. His first meeting with me a couple of weeks ago he barely listened to what I was saying. During this brief interaction, I told him that an echocardiogram had just been performed and that I can get the results for him. He said he doesn't need them because he will do tests that actually matter. I was given a holter monitor and a follow up for today. I assumed today's appointment was for results of holter as no other information was provided to me. I went in and was greeted my asking to wear a gown.Β  I agreed as I am used to getting ECGs done as soon as I walk into clinics. I was then told that I will be having an echocardiogram. I wondered why I wasn't told and that I already had that test doneΒ  a month ago. Dr. Kumar then came to explain to me that he likes to do the tests again (saying Hi my name is Dr. Kumar as if meeting me for the first time). I agreed to have the echocardiogram done again. A male walked in and said he would do my echocardiogram. I asked for a female technician (for this invasive test I have done this before and you have to sit with an open chest for at least 20 min). They told me there was no female technician. I asked for Dr. Kumar and told him how unprofessional it was to not tell a patient during booking what they are coming in for and if they are ok with a male technician for tests being performed. I felt enraged and robbed of my time and energy.

Horrible "Doctor". This man love to book extra appointment embarrassed by the way he speaks. He needs to fix this attitude he has where he thinks he is always right and superior to others. After my last appointment I decided I would not go back to see him, I went to another cardiologist in the area find the right problems .This has zero people skills. He lacks professionalism and needs up to reality... I wouldn’t recommend anyone to attend this clinic.... Save yourself the time.. find another clinic. This was one of the worst specialists referrals.health care concern???. to send me on my way with no clear answers. Would not recommend.

Excellent doctor, he set up tests quickly and was very easy to talk to. Explained everything in clear, concise language. When I explained my breathing problems he referred me to the appropriate specialist. I have no hesitation recommending him. The facility is absolutely spotless and the staff are polite and competent. The gentleman that did my echo cardiogram explained the procedure completely and made sure I was comfortable. Definitely a most pleasant experience.

This was a terrible experience. Calling me in for random appointments to tell me nothing. Multiple 2 minutes rushed chats with the doctor that meexplained nothing. Missed time at work for absolutely no reason. Making me do tests that my surgeon's office at St. micheals told me I didn't need to do. So, Cleary to get that OHIP billing. Not able to tell me anything specific so it was a lot of time wasted. Didn't actually tell me anything about anything. Didn't break the science down at all, and I'm a pharmaceutical student. I was so turned off. Then the receptionist gave me a reference to a family doctor that thatshe even has a family member that works there, but won't return my calls. You know...since I'm a young heart surgery patient that can't find a family doctor I'm in a great situation. Then they withheld appointment information from me and I missed appointments and the hospital tried to charge me. As someone with a heart condition leading to open heart surgery, this was an awful experience and would never recommend this place to anyone.

The staff were really nice but Dr. Kumar was very rude. He scolded me of the receptionist for being 5min late.

Dr. Kumar is old, has memory issues. Had me do blood work for cholesterol follow up. Then when I went in for results, I was told to take off my shirt because I'm going on the thread mill. I was not told this would happen. Communication is lax in that place. He refute all other other means, naturally or medically that you offer as an alternative. He is bias to other people of India descent who is not the same as he is. Always questioning your NAME and where you are from. That place is very unprofessional and gives me the creeps. I'm always angry when I leave there. They seem to not remember what was said and done previously, as if they are not keeping things on record or fail to to get a fist on you before you come in to see them. Will never go back.

I phoned my family doctor about the heartburn I was experiencing while cycling. Dr. Kumar staff called me later the same morning for particulars. Dr. Kumar phoned me later that afternoon, personally, to tell me he thought I had heart issues and not to cycle until he had completed my stress test. He booked me for two days later. He called me early the morning of the test to explain he had a meeting at two and asked if I would mind coming in an hour early for my appointment. After the stress test he booked me promptly into St. Mike's for an angiogram. I received great and prompt, professional, personal care from Dr. Kumar.

This was my first time seeing Dr Kumar.I found it very easy to talk to Kumar. Excellent service by Dr Kumar and his cardio team: Maria and Anika. I was asked to meet Maria and Anika, They both arranged and executed tests for me on that day. All tests and processes were explained fully to me and I was treated professionally and friendly at all times. Dr Kumar, Maria and Anika obviously highly knowledgeable and competent in their field. I felt confident I was seeing the best Doctor for my problem. Their approach is collaborative, engaging the patient in the decision making process and taking the time to explain the evidence properly so that an informed decision can be made. Dr Kumar manner is friendly and supportive while maintaining the necessary degree of authority. I also like to thank everyone that works in that office for their friendly and professional service, I was very pleased to have gone to see him and would recommend him to anyone with a heart problems
