We’re here when and where our customers need us.

Circle K, Your Community & You

We believe that people are a critical part of the Circle K brand, so we’ve fostered a culture which educates, inspires and empowers all our people to “Do the right thing” for everyone in the Circle K world. Circle K has a strong focus on training and motivation. That’s one of the reasons why, in the end, we can pride ourselves on providing the best customer experience in the convenience industry. And why we will sustain continued growth and leadership in the marketplace.

History of Circle K Stores

Circle K Stores are owned by Alimentation Couche-Tard, the largest convenience store operator in Canada. Circle K’s success in the convenience retailing industry spans more than 60 years. Back in 1951 when Fred Hervey purchased three Kay’s Food Stores in El Paso, Texas, little did anyone know these stores would serve as the beginning of Circle K, now, a proudly Canadian company.

During the next few decades, Circle K grew its retail network through a series of acquisitions, eventually incorporating into the Circle K brand. By 1975, there were 1,000 Circle K stores across the U.S. In 1979, Circle K entered the international market when the first Circle K stores were established in Japan. The company’s growth continued and, by 1984, sales had reached $1 billion.

A new milestone was attained in 1999 when Alimentation Couche-Tard acquired Mac’s Convenience Stores and became the largest national convenience store network in Canada – a distinction it still proudly holds today. Couche-Tard launched into the US market with the acquisition of Circle K stores in 2003 and has since developed into a global brand represented in over 20 countries.

Circle K has become one of the most widely recognized convenience store brands in the world, known for quality products and great customer service. We’ve come a long way since our humble beginnings, and we’re proud of where we’ve been and where we’re going.

The guy refused to let the ice cream machine run to clear out old flavouring that was coming out. Refused to look at it to see that there was clearly butterscotch or something coming out and not plain ice cream. Not that hard to look SMH.

Older gentleman is awesome, treats you with respect, keeps the store clean, etc. Younger guy is always on his phone, always responds impatiently as if I'm interrupting his day, dude it's a pack of smokes, chill the f out. Store is always a mess with this guy, it's covid-19, clean up a bit eh. If you weren't always on your phone, you would be able to hear the customer and you wouldn't have to blame the customer when it involves their money, not yours. Done with this place. Thank you to the older guy.

I went there today, I wanted to get a polar pop but there was black dots spilling everywhere when I was pouring it in. I also wanted to get a slurpy because I saw another one of my friends get it but the guy who was working in the morning told us that the machine didnt work but clearly it did, It was running and I saw other people get one. The man also kicked me and my friend out of the store for being in there too long and to leave because other people want to get in the store even though we were only in there for about 2 mins and when we got outside there was no one in line.

Awful people, awful place. They'll make up prices on the spot even though things are labeled. It's dirty and it smells like sewage, not sure if it's the business or people working. Try not to go here if you don't need.
