★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Do not go to this restaurant ! The manager looks down to Chinese customers ( Non-Cantonese), I felt I was discriminated! The reason is I dropped by to have my lunch there yesterday , sat down n orded 8 pcs bun , waited more than 10 minutes and I asked the manager if my food is ready , he immediately complained and he looked so impatient and he said to me , “ how can it be so fast , you wait another 2 minutes okay ?” , then I waited another 10 minutes , my food was not ready again , I lost my patience and I said pack it up for me for take out , they finally brought my food to my table only to find they made it wrong ! I was about to yell at them but I didn’t, I left the restaurant and I swear that I will never ever dine there or order any take out again in my life !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had breakfast this morning, ordered 2 types of buns, pancakes, spicy noodles and tofu curd.
I haven't had worse northern chinese food in GTA. The buns are blend, pancakes don't have enough sauce , spicy noodles taste more like noodle salad with not enough spices and tofu curd is not what it's supposed to taste like, it's just peanut sauce and hoisin sauce.
On top of that the manager was lecturing the waiters and waitresses in front of us, it was funny but I feel bad for the employees.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Have lunch there on Sunday, though full house but no lineup. Seating and decor was comfortable and clean. Food quality was above average. The juicy pork steam bun was tasty and warm. The pan fried dumpling was nicely filled with stuffing, and the wrapper was thin and crispy. The fish shape fried rice with shrimp, sausage and salmon roe was tasty and not greasy. The price was a bit on the high side but well worth the money. Will go back and check out the other in the menu.
Went back for lunch couple of weeks later, quite the opposite this time. Waited for 20 minutes, the peak time last till about 1 and ease up after. The steam pork boa was good, the steam crab and pork juicy bun filled with more crab meat than other places. But the lamb soup noodle was subpar, 1 star off for that.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Probably one of the best northern Chinese food restaurants in GTA! Came here 4-5 times before and the food is always so superior! Staff is friendly and the environment is clean!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The ground lamb and green onion buns we ordered for take out were not cooked! The meat and dough were still raw inside! This is horrible and we will never order from them or dine there again! We took a bite of the buns before seeing the rawness inside. Now we are worried about getting sick from raw meat, because raw meat is full of parasites! And they didn’t answer our calls when we tried to contact them!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were here for Peking duck. We were not quite impressed by their food tho. Peking duck was bland and not juicy. The pork arms cold dish was dry and bland as well. Everything here is not salty enough in our opinions.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was a really chic and elegant restaurant. The decor and setting were pleasant. It was a nice calm place to enjoy high quality Tianjin cuisine. The food was delicious and the service was great. It was definitely a good choice to go for fine dining Chinese food. Will definitely go back again!
So nice to visit again! The restaurant was elegant & spacious. We were seated upstairs this time. The seating area upstairs was very calm and quiet, but our server was still attentive and provided excellent service to us. The food was good as always and the portion was reasonable for that price. We enjoyed our dinner very much.
