Miyabi Japanese Restaurant

Our go to spot when craving Japanese food. The sushi pairings are awesome, staff are friendly and this is as close to the sushi we've had in Japan as possible.

It’s an authentic Japanese restaurant. You can really feel that you are in a traditional authentic Japanese restaurant once you step in the door, the fish and vinegar aroma are all over the restaurant. The sushi rice are nicely made, vinegar is in good proportion and the rice are in good tempura and not over cooked. The fish for sashimi and sushi are very fresh. They can also do custom made order, like Uni-Ikura Don. There is another special event order that I want to bring up with, it’s their Osenchi Bento!!! It’s only available for the New Year, you have to pre-order it before Dec.27 (last call); and I’m glad that I ordered with them this year and I’m very impressed for what I got!!!

Great authentic Japanese restaurant. We have been coming here for years. A very casual dining space with two small private rooms Super friendly service, great variety of food (along with daily specials) and everything is so fresh and delicious. They even have party trays for take out orders. I believe the prices are justified for the quality of food. The sushi deluxe is $29 and comes with 11 pcs sushi and 6 pcs maki which is very good!

Sadly, the longest service for the regular food. We figured that ordering sushi here makes sense time wise. We ordered complete dinners and it took over an hour something that would take me 15-17 minutes to do at home. Very upsetting.

Miyabi is a hidden gem. The Bluefin Tuna is so delicious. The udon has a great broth. Nice, old school style Japanese restaurant. Great service, very attentive and quick. Servers couldn’t be nicer.

I read online that this is an authentic place with a talented chef at the helm. While this may very well be true, the takeout I got to experience today disappointed me. Too much rice which did not taste all that good, not enough filling, and mediocre overall taste left me unimpressed. In my humble opinion, nothing beats Ichiban Fish House (9425 Leslie St) - my favourite sushi joint in Markham.

Just the perfect amount of miso flavor in each bite ✨ ⠀ -[????????-????] $?.?? • Agedashi-Tofu is a Japanese way of serving hot tofu that is cut into cubes, lightly dusted in potato starch, and then deep fried! • This version is served with a deliciously flavorful and savory sauce as well as topped with scallions and nori ? • Each piece is a flavor bomb ? ⠀ -[?????? ??????? ????] $??.?? ? Okonomi means "??? ??? ????" and yaki means "??????" in Japanese ? They have multiple protein options like chicken, pork, and vegetables! ? Great sushi take out expirence great quality a little more pricey but if you take advantage of the 20% off cash only order a day ahead its great. Very friendly service looking forward to my next visit.
