β β β β β We bought a Whirlpool 3-door refrigerator from Eastview Electronics around the end of September. The price was comparable to other places like Sears, not particularly cheaper. On Jan. 2, barely three months later, there was obviously something wrong with it, as food in the freezer began to soften. The service guy just came earlier today. He gave us the bad news that both the compressor and condenser of the fridge are not working. He said he's never seen anything like this before on a new fridge. He was really sympathetic to us. He also said most stores, upon hearing this situation, will replace the fridge. At least they'll give customers a temporary one to use until the problem's fixed. We just called Eastview and spoke with Raymond, who basically washed his hands off and said Whirlpool is now responsible. We wasted several hundred dollars worth of food, again! They just don't care. So be warned when you consider to buy any products from this company!
