I had always liked coming here for their regular and sometimes lunch menu and it's been a while since the pandemic happened. The experience and food was still good although it was quite busy. The service is different from other all you can eat places, I'd say more courteous and more professional. They do change their menu from time to time so this time I think there are some changes to items and I believe the price went up slightly since I last visited which is understandable. I still haven't tried their wagyu so I can't say anything about the quality of that but the other meats were generally alright. Would recommend others to try at least once for the fun of it!

Dined her in a large group of 18 at dinner and another time with just 4 people at lunch. Ordered from the basic menu both times - there wasn't a lunch menu. There are a lot of options on the menu to choose from which was great. Enjoyed the different cuts of meat, the marinated meats and seafood. Some of the beef and pork cuts were not flavourful but the sauce and side options helped. The cooked food - takoyaki, karaage, and bibimbap were delicious. The food was great on both occasions, however service is where Shinta lacks. Waited a long time at the door for someone to greet or seat is, constantly waving someone down to order or to remove plates from the table, at times when dropping off the order it was just passed to you to place on the table. This wouldn't be my top suggestion for a Japanese BBQ restaurant, I would only come back if someone else wanted to dine here.

Lots of meat options and they have soft serve ice cream for dessert. Did not get to try the wagyu dinner option but I think their regular dinner is plenty. Restaurant is clean and tidy, not smoky at all like many other table top bbq places. Recommend trying!

Variety of selection for all you can eat Japanese grill. Clean and service was good. 12% service charge was automatically added to the bill. Note that they only take cash or debit - no credit cards.

Went here on a Saturday evening and they were pretty busy. There is a 2 hour limit (not sure for every table or not) and the selection is good for the Angus menu compared to Gyubee as the price for this level is the same. It was quite busy and we ordered multiple times, but the amounts we ordered were never really properly given to us each time we ordered. We would ask for 4 servings of pineapple for example and get only 1, same for seafood etc. Yes, I would go back again as I am curious about their higher levels with different meat options. But the 4 star is mostly based on the fact that we were not properly getting our orders, which was disappointing. Also sucks that they don't accept credit card here.

Shinta is the place to experience quality Japanese BBQ with a fixing of premium Wagyu beef. The hard decision was whether to upgrade to Wagyu AYCE but we opted for the regular Black Angus menu along with an extra Wagyu order Γ  la carte. The star of the show is prime kalbi short rib: sliced, well-marinated and decently marbled. A short time on the grill atop the BBQ flame is all that's needed. It tasted somewhat comparable to zabuton cuts of US gold grade Wagyu (crossbreed) that we tried, which were buttery moist with flavour akin to Angus beef. Also on the menu: thin cut beef tongue, toro beef, braised short rib topped with cheese, and sweet lemongrass pork loin steak were worth a taste too. Shinta has a variety of other menu items to keep things interesting other than grilled vegetables. Clams in sake and cheesy butter corn both have a delectable sweet aftertaste as appetizers. The takoyaki balls may not be authentic without bonito flakes but were satisfying enough for seconds. Deep fried buns with condensed milk were surprisingly delicious. Service started well between the supervisor and our waiter Harry who were both attentive and helpful. But a few items (e.g. squid and enoki mushroom) didn't show up from the kitchen and eventually the other waiters seemed a bit overwhelmed by the busy lunch. There is a 2-hr dine-in limit which didn't seem strictly enforced. Only so much greasy goodness that one can eat anyways. Standard weekday AYCE is the Black Angus, and there are more premium Silver / Gold Wagyu menus. There was also an early bird special which they forgot to apply for us. The meal was still worth it.

All you can eat meat lovers BBQ. Good quality beef slices, pork belly, seafood. Vegi dishes are also good. Only one kind of lamb though. Service is friendly and easy to order, metal net on the stove changed quite frequently. The reception at the front desk could be more welcome though. Seems like reserve only, some walk-in were turned back.

Not only is the food delicious, the service there is AMAZING!! I came today for Valentines Day and was gifted a rose. Such a sweet gesture! Honestly, all the staff there is so nice and friendly. I also dropped my ring today and was so scared that it would be swept away as they have to clean up at the end of the day. I went back just as they were about to close and they had already found my ring and had it at the counter. The care and attention to detail is exceptional. 10/10 would recommend and I will definitely be coming back :)
