โ โ โ โ โ Food is still ok but this was not an enjoyable dining experience at all. There were absolutely no service other than someone yelling from behind the counter telling you what to do. They blame the changes on the public health department, but I find it hard to believe as what they are doing seem to only protects themselves rather than the customers. All the customers need to walk to the counter to place their orders, get their own condiments and water from the communal dispensers at the front and clean up the table themselves before leaving. There is a lot of unnecessary traffic and contact with high touch surfaces in the restaurant because of that. I am not even sure if they came out from behind the counter to disinfect the tables or any of the shared dispensers between customers. The tables are also not adequately separated with only about a foot between some seats. They have also increased the price drastically (from $7 to $12/bowl) and implemented a number of menu changes that don't make any sense at all. I will not come back again.

โ โ โ โ โ This place is a self serve restaurant where you order, pay and find your own table. You get your own water and condiments (chili oil, vinegar) at the pick up table. No condiments for take out as said on the sign. Food is still good. Their menu is insanely expensive. Everything on menu is $12, even a plate of Plain veggie.

โ โ โ โ โ One of Richmond hill's finest takeout spots. Despite how quick the service is (call them and they'll prepare your order in 10 mins for takeout), the wontons, noodles and broth always taste unbelievably fresh and flavorful. The portions are sizable. Pictured is the delicious shrimp and beef wonton lo-mein soup. Give it a shot if you haven't tried it out. You won't regret it.

If you dine in, they will check your vaccine record.
Self serve style. Thereโs hot water station and sauce station.
Food came hot and good portion. I ordered wonton only abs it came with 8 golf ball sized wonton.
They also have raw wonton for sell at $18 a dozen. I find it I expensive as cooked version is $12 for 8 piece.
No music at all and the restaurant has a strange vibe when itโs dead silence.

โ โ โ โ โ This location is essentially a self serve restaurant where you order and pay first, and then find a table. You get your own water and condiments (chili oil, vinegar) at the back of the restaurant. Their menu is really expensive if you get anything other than the noodle with the most toppings. A regular that the staff recognized immediately came in and ordered plain noodles with no toppings and it still cost them the same flat price as $12. Totally disproportionate pricing (it's maybe $4 at other shops), especially for a regular.
We got the 3 topping noodle and a wonton fish paste noodle, both with added veggies. The portion sizes are huge and if you add veg, they do add a lot. Unfortunately the wontons lacked the dried flounder (ๅคงๅฐ้ญ) flavour, and the fish paste was mixed with too much flour so it was doughy. The broth also lacked the shrimpy complexity typical of wonton noodle soups. The sliced beef was good. Big Trio and Wonton Hut are far superior.

โ โ โ โ โ Food quality is still as delicious as ever. Definitely my go-to comfort food.
The price is insane, but understandable considering the last 1.5 yrs. Literally each item is $12. I understand that this just pushes you to get a noodle with topping to get your money's worth.
You prepay for your food in the back now. You take a seat at any unoccupied table and wait for your name to be called. You pick up your food at the counter where you ordered. Food is served in plastic containers with disposable chopsticks/spoons.
You can dispense your own condiments into small plastic containers and bring it to your table. (Caution: the hot sauce is really spicy! But very yummy).
Tea and hot water is still self serve in the back.
When done eating, you clear your own table and tray. There is a cart and large garbage can where you can throw garbage and leave your tray.
While eating, I did notice a staff member coming out to sanitize the used tables.
I see a lot of negative comments about the hospitality aspect of this establishment. I used to think that they were loud/rude, until I realized that that's just what they sound like normally, even when happy/excited, their tone is the same. They have always been nice to me, my family and my friends.
I highly recommend this restaurant, but be mindful of the price increase. Always try the hot sauce.

โ โ โ โ โ Jim Chai Kee used to be my place to go for noodles with great quality and price... $7 per bowl of Wonton noodle soup now cost $12! What a shock! Got my takeout on Saturday and barely anyone inside the restaurant around noon when it is a supposingly busy time... I don't get how Covid justify 71% increase within 2 years?!?!? Maybe Covid got to the owner's head and think that $12 CAD (equivalent to $74 HKD) for a bowl of wonton is reasonable ???โ?? Won't be returning anytime soon!
