I visited this place quite often lately, even though the foods offered were just high average. The presentation of foods also just average to high average. Decoration of restaurant is slightly above average. I loved the dim sum which were reasonably priced. A few of them had excellent presentation. The dining hall also not too cramped. I especially liked the cubicle dining area, with 1 table per cubicle, which gave you a peace of mind that you are well distanced from other diners during this pandemic time. When people dine out, many people like to look for value for the money spent. Overall, it is a high average restaurant.

Expensive for what you get… We have heard a lot of good things about this restaurant. So we gave it a try. The combo menu was the best deal as ordering anything from the main menu was ridiculously expensive. We decided on the dinner combo; that’s where you get to pick one dish from the “A” list, another dish from the “B” list, then two or more items from the “C” list. We ordered the braised beef rib from list A, steamed eel from list B, and pork chop with Chinese vinegar sauce and sweet and sour pork from list C. The dinner started off with a corn soup. That was really, really good. It is basically chicken stock with cream of corn soup with some fish stomach pieces added in. Very nicely done. Our favourite was the braised beef rib which was super tender; the sauce was sweet and very tasty. The steamed eel was also good; it didn’t have the “muddy earthy” taste which means it was cleaned well. The sweet and sour pork was good but needed to be fried longer to make it crispier; the flavour was not too vinegary which was nice. The least favourite was the pork chop. It was tough and waaay too salty for our liking. If we could redo our order, that would have been the dish to replace. I noticed the chef added MSG to some of our dishes. So, if you are sensitive to MSG, we warned. Dessert was a red bean soup, almond cookies, and mango jello. This tasted watered down. It wasn’t too sweet but no real bean flavour. It was also missing the dried tangerine peel flavour, which probably would have saved the dessert. Definitely a thumbs down on that one. The cookies were just ok and mango jello was too sweet. I would recommend skipping the dessert here and going to another restaurant to finish the meal. The price was expensive for what you get. The plating is fairly standard with little to no decorations. The portions were not overly large. Our bill came out to $150 after taxes and tip. To be perfectly honest, the food was just ok but definitely not worth $30 per dish. I would try them for dimsum or lunch, which seems more reasonably priced. If you want something slightly better than normal class, this is a good treat once in a while. But there are definitely better restaurants you can go to for that price.

Foods are really nice with variety of choices. The tofu dessert is a must try. Connie is the best server with nice manner and well attention. The only minus points is the fluctuations of food quality especially on fried rice (sometimes it is so soggy), and the baked pork buns

They have very reasonable dinner combos. Good sized portions and variety. Comes with dessert which was tofu flower tonight. This place does get very busy and loud at night

It is a very clean and nice restaurant. I like the lighting they use, make it very bright and clean. The seatings are very nice. The tables are separated and roomy. The staffs are friendly. The day I went they had morning special, so the wait time a bit long, but it was worth the wait as I wanted to try a lot of new dishes. the parking was good too. I definitely will come back and introduce it to my friends

Came here for dinner with my family of 9 and ordered 2 different combos and the total was roughly only $350. It had everything you needed- seafood miso soup, Peking duck and lettuce wraps, curry crab, giant tiger shrimps, free range chicken, 2 vegetable dishes, sirloins steak with mushrooms and peas, 2 steamed garlic lobster with vermicelli, and dessert. High quality Chinese food for an affordable price! The Peking duck skin was super crispy, the shrimps very juicy, the curry crab was delicious, the steak had an amazing marinade. All in all, we really enjoyed our meal!

Called in for takeout as they have an awesome deal for dim sum if you go and pick up yourself rather than using delivery services. You’ll save about half the price and the food was very tasty and hot to order. I will be coming back here from now on for my dim sum cravings in the future. Also only saw two area, but looked very elegant and spacious with bright interior lighting.
